Lol Many a true word said in jest. Personally woulda gone with the Amiga though but out of the list I kinda have to go with the PC. Upgradability + more games + better graphics + User made content = win.

I will add though that any fighting games are allways better on the consoles.

Nintendo 64. Most of the games for the N64 are, and always will be, greater than even the greatest "modern" game.

It was close between NES-SNES for me but realistically I can still play games on my 64 and be happier with them than I can when replaying games on any other system.

I had to vote for the Mega Drive (or Genesis as it's named on this thread *shudders*) purely for nostalgia factor honestly.

No other console has had as many great platformers and side scrolling fighters as the Mega Drive. Sonic, Ristar, Dynamite Headdy, Alex Kidd, Comix Zone, Vectorman, Streets of Rage, Goldex Axe.

Sorry to be a nostalgia fag but I've had so much fun on that old SEGA. XD

PC it started everything and has always had the most variety and flexibility with games. PC's can also have higher graphics than the consoles and when all else fails you can always use your PC to hit the internet, theres always tons of games up here.

best sport : any ISS really
best rpg : FF X
best sandbox : GTA 3 All the way (also getaway was nice with interesting game mechanicks and fantastic recreation of london as well as the briliance of british dialogs.
