Poll: the bigest bad ass in video gameing

I don't understand...how is the Secret Apprentice a badass?? I mean sure, he pulled down a Star Destroyer, but to be a badass, they also have to have a badass personality to back up said act...and unforunately, a piece of cardboard has more personality than Starkiller does

But yeah, Duke Nukem. Other notables that aren't there:
The Doom Guy from Doom
Johnny Gat, Saints Row.
Alex Mercer, Prototype. May not be the most memorable character but he's one powerful, sick, SOB.
Samus Aran, Metroid.
Arthas (The Lich King), from WarCraft.
Sam Fisher, Splinter Cell.
Just to name a few.

I'd say that Shinjiro Aragaki from Persona 3, and Auron from Final Fantasy X are leagues above the cliched and average characters in the poll.
Both have alot of grit and are real symbols of strength and badassery. Auron could kick Master Cheap's arse any day, and cut Dante in half three times over

Then that leaves it open to interpretation. You can decide if he thinks "Oh God, why Alyx? WHY?!" or "Stab her again, just to be sure she won't get up.".IsoNeko said:

Marcus Fenix is good too, I mean, look at his neck! And he doesn't have a missing wife to cry about either. And I wouldn't write off Benjamin Carmine, he's not your usual badass like Duke or Kratos, but he soldiered on despite obviously knowing that his name may as well be Benjamin Deadmeat and ended up partially eaten. Good for him!
Dmitri Lukin from Operation Flashpoint is one of my favourates as well.
From what you can choose from from the Poll: Kratos, but it's truely Duke, there can be no other King Badass.
Edit: And would the OP stop complaining about other's choices? They're far more legit than bloody "I have a silly outfit and terrible hair" Dante.
