I thought the armour from begins was better than TDK and TDKR.

Spoiler: It's not perfect but you can see the symbol more clearly and the cowl looks better

With a bit more difference in colour between chest, symbol and cowl it would be similar to the one you showed.

I think both costumes are awful, so it's a matter of which one I dislike less, but really neither of them do it for me and I will never get how they got the mask so wrong, it looks awful, so I'm going to back out like a coward and say that they are both equally bad for different reasons, but hey at least it's not the new Superman costume...

Eh... it's the actresses fault more than anything else... I don't remember her name right now, but she's always looked odly shaped to me... and she has a weird shaped head, that with the make up made it look like her face was 90% lips...<.<
