Poll: The Elder Scrolls Oblivion

If I recall correctly, I would run the end of the dock, jump into the water, punch the slaughterfish, run over to the bandits just near the ruins, kill the melee fighter, play dodge arrow with the archer until he/she ran out, kill him/her, then cackle maniacally as I stand over a corpse punching it in the face. The result is the head comically turning left-right-left-right-left-right, as if actually being punched.

I do (roughly) this every time I start a new game.

Granted, I did the mages' guild afterwards. It is surprisingly easy to beat the mages guild with a fighter and vice versa.

I played a male Wood Elf and joined the Thieves' Guild, just like I did in Morrowind, and just like I do in any RPG ever.

I love being sneaky.

The first thing I did in Oblivion was start fighting in the arena, but there's no option for that.
Out of the ones listed, Mages guild.

What was the first thing you did in Oblivion 4 when you first exited the sewer? what did you do to make the game interesting and what was your first guild?. What Race were you?

I was a Redguard [Male] who joined the Brotherhood and Killed everything that moved and i dabbled in Mods and stuff

There's no Oblivion 4, just saying. =]

On my first playthrough I was a wood elf warrior (that's right!) He joined the fighters guild despite everyone laughing at him for being a wood elf in heavy armor, alot of "Go out in the woods and hunt deer" comments were thrown, mostly by those ignorant orc to which I replied "Get the fuck off my horse!". Trying to get accepted as a elf in heavy armour I took upon myself the task to save Cyrodiil from the evil which recently had shown up (The Oblivion Gates). After an epic battle up in Bruma I finally gained acceptance and they made a nice statue of me up with Bruma Castle.

I... Think I was a Kahjitt, and tried to go mage-assasin style. Didn't work out, dropped the assasin bit. I think I joined the Thieves guild first, but I didn't really start doing their missions until later in the game. My first real guild was the Brotherhood.

I found it in the betrayer's diary, and remembered it ever since I first read it. The whole diary's a good read though.

I was a male redguard.

I swam across the river in front of me and killed a bunch of bandits and explored an ayleid ruin before getting chased away by a ghost I couldn't kill with my weak steel short sword.

Then I went and joined the Fighters Guild and killed some stuff for kicks.

I was a Nord. I did the fighters guild first basically because I found it first. Then thieves, then mages.

I was a male redguard but I screwed up my hair so badly I wore a helemt for the rest of the game.
But yeah, I went straight to the main quest and did that for a loooong time, then i started the sidequests. Joined some guilds, but DARK BROTHERHOOD FTW!

The beauty part with them however was I did not know about them until I was approached after (apparently) killing an innocent. After that I just had to see what this was all about.

Dark brotherhood, first thing I did. Swam across the lake and killed all the bandits. After that I tried to go through with the main quest, but eventually I got bored and was going to check how high my bounty could get before I would get caught/killed.

For me it ended up being an loot all (steal all) and kill all. Everything that moved and was close enough was dead meat

Dark Brotherhood (I tried to join the Mages' Guild first, but said "screw it")

after completing about 90% of the game with the Khajit, I started a new file where I'm an Argonian and I joined the Thieves' Guild first

I started Oblivion as a female Breton, actually. I thought they were cute, and if I'm going to stare at an ass for hours on end, it might as well be an ass I could fuck. I prefered the thieves' Guild: I hope the next Elder Scrolls has more varied missions for all guilds.

I was a male orc and i killed a bunch of people and got into the dark brotherhood and then i started on the mages guild but then i got bored and went back to doing dark brotherhood and finished it then i got into the fighters guild and Arcane university and eventually thieves guild.
