Poll: The Force Unleashed 2

After i played the first Force Unleashed i loved it. me being a star wars fan it was nice to see some new story that sorta intertwined the 3rd and 4th movvie. i loved the soundtrack, combat system, the amazing force powers, and the freedom to somewhat customize your character and lightsaber. i think TFU2 will be more innovative and succeed better than the first. i'm hoping that the ability to customize both lightsabers would be amazing,( i would personally have blue and red) i was wondering what your opinion about TFU2 is and what it is that you'd love to see in the new adventure.

The first was OK.

So yeah, it'll be better than the first I expect.

It'll be better. And hopefully more balanced. I had quite a few cheap deaths in the later levels. And let's not forget...THE STAR DESTROYER SEQUENCE.

The first had its glitches, and the gameplay they've shown so far (all 30 seconds I've been able to find of it) looks like it's built on the at least a similar game engine (or combination thereof), so they've probably managed to iron out at least some of the issues they had first time around.

i also saw the demo... i'm kinda skeptical about it but i like that they have dismemberment...IT'S A LIGHTSABER NOT A BAT

I did feel it might have made the force a little over the top (star destroyer anyone) but as a game it really did have the potential to be really fun, and was in parts. I think I might have a look at it depending on what else comes out at the same time.

I really couldn't stand the first, wonky controls and cheap deaths galore. But from what little I've seen of the second it looks like it could be really good. Here's to hoping, anyway.

Hoping this one ends up like i wanted the first to be.
Effectively a new Jedi Knight game, the combat was too sticky in 1, lacking the marvelous fluidity of gameplay of Jedi Academy et al.

I'd like the bosses in TFU 2 to not be utter bullshit. At least make them weak to certain kinds of attacks, instead of blocking everything.

I doubt the story will be better, but the powers, bosses, targeting and combat in general will probably be improved for TFU2.

I didn't even know they were planning to do a second game... the trailer looks nice at least.
Then again it's Star Wars and I'm a huge Star Wars zealot so yaaay!

I want to play it, but I am fed up with them making every new Jedi/Sith the most powerful yet. They should not to over do it.

Personaly i can't wait!! I've watched the trailer about 50 times, lets hope the game is as good as the trailer.

I'm looking forward to it, I think it's going to be awesome. But I also look at it like this:

I grew up with comics and cartoons from marvel mostly, and some DC. There comes a point where everyone dies, or when a bad guy so bad the heroes have absolutely no chance of survival comes and they have to pull some new power out of their ass to survive.

Star wars is no different. Once upon a time it was enough just to carry a lightsaber(Episode IV). Then you had to have the Force(Episodes V and VI). Episode I now everyone had to have midichlorians or else they couldn't do anything, and in Episode II it wasn't enough to have a lightsaber, or the force, or midichlorians, because now we had Dooku and Yoda, badasses that not even two knights could beat on a good day. And episode III revealed the emperor, who was basicly a god character.

So the power of the apprentice, it's just a progression as star wars continues. As for his resurrection, well, it's a cop out, nothing more. What do you expect from the franchise at this point?

I gotta say from what I heard about it I think its kind of stuck in there just to have another Star Wars game. But I will gladly put my foot in my mouth if it turns out to be fun.

I dont feel the first game was really good enough to warrant a sequel. Alas were getting one anyway. I want a challenge and a better plot.
