It'll be better. And hopefully more balanced. I had quite a few cheap deaths in the later levels. And let's not forget...THE STAR DESTROYER SEQUENCE.
What was so bad about the Star Destroyer part?
I didn't mind it.
OT: It will be better, the first was pretty average.

As long as they don't make you fight Darth Maul again...

Some of the boss fights in TFU were pretty messy since, most of the time, you'd just be fighting other jedi that were similar to your height. There are barely any hack'n'slashers I can think of that have a boss of said-height that managed to make fighting him/her satisfying and fun.

That said, the first game did a great job of making you feel like a force-wielding badass, so I'm sure the 2nd will do an even better job of it.

There are a few issues I have with it, though:

The story had better not be as confusing as the premise suggests it might be. I've read GiantBomb's wiki page on it a few times, and I've discussed it with a friend who played through TFU, but I can barely make sense of it. I'm a little confused as to how it's meant to make sense of the inbetween-episode-3-and-4-timeline.

Also, I kinda have to cringe when I hear them say "now you can wield two lighstabers!" It just feels like a needless sequel addition.

Don't get me wrong, I'm still interested in seeing it, and I'm most definetly going to pick it up at some point, but I'm not blown away by anything Lucasarts have said or shown so far.

I want to play it, but I am fed up with them making every new Jedi/Sith the most powerful yet. They should not to over do it.
I don't find it as necessarily the most powerful ever...but more or less they have the potential to be the best. Anakin had the potential to be best Jedi (and Sith) to have lived past or future, but he lost all his potential when he was put in the suit. Sure he was still strong, but with the power of the light Galen, and the training of Vader himself, he was able to beat Vader in a fight. Then Luke comes along and does the same thing...he became the Jedi Anakin should have been.

However, personally I love Revan =P

I'm hoping the add more lightsaber fights outside of boss battles, kinda like jedi academy as well as dismemberment i mean come on when i ran around hitting storm troopers and they just went flying but if i hit an astromech they split done the middle, why? but yeah those are the big two for me more non boss lightsaber fights and dismemberment

I loved the first but I don't see any reason for there to be a second. Other than show off that a kid can control The Force better than The Chosen One and The Sith Ari combined, it was able to show the origins of The Rebel Alliance and give them a reason to really give a damn. We have other cannon sources of information between Revenge and New Hope. It isn't that I'm against FU2 I just don't think it should be considered cannon >.> There's only so much you can fit into that timeline anyway >.>

The first one was a good game....just waaay too short. I beat it the day I got it.
I'd like to see it be a little more sand box-ish not a GTA mind you, but something that gave you a little more options for quests and objectives.

I'm looking forward to playing it, but the story, from what I've heard is complete bullshit laziness.

*Spoilered just in case you don't wanna know yet.
SUMMARY(Of what I know so far):
Starkiller in the sequel ISN'T Starkiller, it's a clone created by Vader to(sigh)....hunt down remaining Jedi spread though the galaxy(including Rham Kota...AGAIN). Eventually the clone starts remembering the memories of the original Starkiller and attempts to rebel against Vader(Sound familiar?). Thankfully Vader has made the clone more powerful than the original and chucked a second lightsaber for good measure and so they've got something to focus all the promotional material on.

Don't get me wrong, it's not like I'm hating on the game. I just think it seems so rehashy. Also for all I know I could be wrong about everything there.

I didn't mind the first Star Wars: Force Unleashed. I hope the second one will be better. I'll probably pick it up cheap though.
