Do MMORPG's count? In that case, Pristontale, Lineage 2, Age of Conan and Warhammer: Age of Reckoning.

Otherwise, yes, probably once or twice. I recall trying a couple of turn-based strategy games that seemed nice at first glance but ended up being sucky lateron.

Dead Space, I despised Isaac Clarke's muteness and there was no sense of danger from any of the monsters. I stopped on Level 3, I was that bored to tears.

S.T.A.L.K.E.R. I played for about 10 minutes, then went back to Fallout 3 (ah, the awesomeness). Also Saints Row 2 comes to mind - I toyed around with it until I got GTA IV, and now it's forsaken. But I think I'm gonna get back to it, since I'm finishing up in GTA and it's still installed... Oh, and Halo 2. That sucked. What else...I think that's it. All the other bad games I've played I finished.

Superman 64 or final fantasy 12, both games...just awful.

Also assasain's creed(WAY too repetitive) and any 3D Sonic game, some of the levels were just so friggin' confusing(excluding unleashed, one of the only PLAYABLE sonic games in a long time)

Golden Sun, getting through the opening cutscenes felt like waiting at the DMV ALL DAY. And evn once I took control of my party I couldn't even figure out what to do because some entrance to someplace was blocked, ah w/e I stopped caring long ago.

Fucking Morrowind, gave that broken game two chances. Both times I fucking returned it. Why?
As soon as I was able to roam around A RAT WAS GNAWING AT MY FEET AND I COULDN'T EVEN HIT IT WITH MY SWORD!!!

Two Worlds was a truly awful game and I never finished it. (Partly because it kept crashing on my 360) That is the only game I have never finished. Even the other bad games I own I have finished.

Fable 2, I got about half way through it, then the game jumps ahead in time by years and made the character bland again. Why design a game where it encourages you to make a distinct individual (you character) then take that away from you. I had a high interest in that game, then that just took all the interest away from me.

Still haven't finished Warrior Within...It just isn't a fun game, I don't know why.

Prey. I actually bought it for super cheap and started playing it. It was pretty fun at first, but then I got to a point where I had to cross a seemingly bottomless cavern. So I had to solve a puzzle and get across it. Then I turned the corner and I ran into another seemingly bottomless cavern. So I had to solve a puzzle and get across it. The I turned the corner and I ran into another seemingly bottomless cavern. I think you can see where this is going. After about the 5th time I was like "Ok, I can't handle this anymore." It got so repetitive and boring that even the story which I was slightly interested in couldn't keep me going. The opening sequence was so amazing that I was actually very disappointed that the game was such a pile of crap. It had so much promise.

There were a lot of games I never finished back when I was younger. Now, I try to finish every single one at least once. The most recent was Stormrise though. That game was just... awful. Absolutely awful.

Prince of Persia 2008

It was just kinda boring some way into the game that I stopped playing. eventually I picked up some of my old games and was playing POP:SoT when I realized that I never finished Prince of Persia 2008. I eventually beat it, and it was a sad day.

not my example of a game I haven't finished, but a story about how playing a game I lost interest in ended up biting me.

I had a PS2 game called Haven. I played for about 30 minutes before I turned the game off. I know that people need to take risks with new games, but that game just went nowhere.

Mass Effect, just not my cup of tea I guess, so very boring.
Also Assassin's Creed, but I'm probably going to force myself soon since the new one is supposed to be less repetitive.

The only game I stopped playing was Far Cry--usually, though, I look at a game and its reviews before playing it to know if I *will* like it enough to play through or not.
I enjoyed that game riiiight up until the monsters turned up. Just lost all interest in it.

Edit: Zomg also the Ninja for the Master System. Impossibly hard and boring. Nuff said.

The Settlers IV and Heroes of Might and Magic IV. Both games are absolutely terrible games and they look it too. Theyre also the only games I have ever deleted off my HDD.

The first Assassins Creed. And then, there's Final Fantasy... I don't think I've ever finished any of them. Although, I did come really close to beating FF3 for the DS, but I just couldn't make it... I always get too bored right there towards the end. I can't stand repetition.

Star Wars ep 3 for the GBA.
Ugh. I felt embarrassed typing that. This was when I didn't know any better about games. This was a major step in my gaming days.

Do You Like Horny Bunnies? 2

There are probably others that I've forgotten in the mists of time, but that's the only recent one.

fallout 3. i never played fallout 1 or 2 and after playing fallout 3 im glad i didnt buy 1 or 2. i got 3 cuz everyone was saying how awesome all the others were. i got out of the vault, did a few quests and decided id be better off playing tetris or something with more....depth and less predictability.
