Call of duty Modern Warfare 1, COD series just failed for me.
Halo wars, RTS on the console just didnt cut it.
Assassins creed 1, The story was awful.
Super Mario Galaxy, The series started to fail during Sunshine (Dont get me wrong sunshine was great and kept a lot of the 64 quality but it had flaws)
And so many others that just cannot keep my attention...

i guess if i understood who the characters were supposed to be i probably would have liked halo wars but (like any halo game) i thought the multiplayer was better.

My younger brother got Shadow the Hedgehog way back when it came out, and out of morbid curiosity, I played it. I got past the first level and quit. SO bad. I think we still have it somewhere, festering in a drawer or something just waiting to pop out and surprise us.

Prototype, killing people and being a badass was fun for the first ten minutes. It was repetitive, the side missions sucked, the controls sucked, the bosses were cheap, the escort missions were annoying, the buildings looked like cardboard, the ai was awful, strike packages one after the other were annoying, getting hit and knocked over by missiles was super fucking annoying and the story sucked.

Dead Space, the closet monsters were so predictable and the extremely repetititve metal halls got sooooooooooooooo boring.

Midnight Club LA, I'm 37 hours in and bored as hell since all the races have now become way too familiar.

Gears of War 2, the first one gave me ths "woaa, next gen" feeling and I'd never really played a game utilizing a cover system like that. Then Gears 2 came and felt way too samey and repetitive, and the last boss and ending supposedly sucked so I didn't miss much.

I hated Chronicles of Riddick (both of them) possibly because i couldn't play them but mainly because of the lighting and the annoying as hell enemy A.I. I hated Riddick and as a result couldn't find the enthusiasm in me to complete it.

The only one I can think of right now is The Lord of the Rings: The Third Age.
Ugh... I just got really frustrated with it. Turn based combat in a LOTR game? No, just no...

There are quite a few I never finished when I was younger, mainly due to me loosing interest/getting new games.

I came really close to stopping playing FarCry 2...There was this one part in the second area where I had a UFLL mission that I could take, but when I went into the building and up the stairs, a, I did not hear any voices, and, b, the door was closed. But my map said that there was a mission available. I went and did 1 underground mission and 1 gun shop mission, and then it seemed that it was fixed and I got my mission. I was incredibly pissed.

Oh I almost forgot, my mind must have blocked it out. The Orange Box.
Portal difficulty skyrockets at stage 16.
Team Fortress 2 is really repetitive. I haven't even played all the maps yet.
Half Life 2...God 10 minutes in and I'm already thinking of playing something else.

And Fallout 3...Sorta...
I played through the story, but saved outside the monument so I could go and freeplay after I beat it...But I was level 19....I didn't have Broken Steel, and I didn't want to level up.
Then I got Broken Steel, and I'm halfway through the last mission, and I just decided fuck it, this is not fun anymore. I technically beat the story, but with the DLC, I haven't wrapped EVERYTHING up.

Rome: Total War
Couldn't conquer everyone. I was enemies with too many factions. I have my game saved 1-2 turns before all my enemies moved in and took my unguarded lands....

Siren for me. There are a few others I never finished but that was because I just lost interest.

I suppose Final Fantasy VIII could count too. I liked the plot and characters but the difficulty near the end sucked and I hated the junction system the entire way through.

I have beaten every game I've ever owned except for FF12. I got to the final boss, failed to kill it, and never had any motivation to try again. Compared to FF8 where I spent a good 8 hours till I finally killed Ultimecia.

I wish I never finished killzone 2.

Ah, I remember when I would actually not finish games and it was a fault of the game itself. Good times, good times.

Dawn Of War:DC, SS and 2. Why?

SAVE DATA ERASED OR GONE.

OT: I'm still trying to finish my other ones.

Ethnic Cleansing when I found out about this game I was kind off surprised that it was actually published and so I found a copy and tried it the game was so bad that I quit after the first 10 minuets. And yes this game does exist http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ethnic_Cleansing_(video_game)

FarCry 2. I literally had to force myself to play it and even then I only managed a total of less than 7 hours over 3 attempts.

It was so bad I had to reinstall the original and play through that again, just for the sake of justice.
