Now, if the romance was actually central to the plot, then I could understand, but I haven't really played a game yet that has done something like that.Cliff_m85 said:They're in love/lust. There, more plot. Now I'm more entertained because there is more of a story as well as more of some bewbs.TheDoctor455 said:No, on their own, sex and nudity do not add anything to the plot. In order for them to contribute something to the plot, you first have to put the sex and nudity into the proper context (I can't really give an example of this as it largely depends on the kind of story you want to tell).Cliff_m85 said:It does further the plot because there is more plot consisting of sex when sex is added. Common sense.TheDoctor455 said:I really think that there should only be nudity and sex in a game if it actually furthers the plot of the game (that sex-scene in Darkwatch doesn't count)
Common sense.
No, what I was trying to get through your skull (I'm going to go out on a limb here and assume that you have a skull), is the idea that I'm okay with having a genuine love interest in a game, so long as said love interest behaves like an actual human being, and remains an interesting character even through the whole relationship. What I don't want to see is what we've all seen too much of: either A) A princess locked in a tower, or B) A super-serious badass action girl that pumps roids every time a load screen pops up.
