I hate Engrish.

I'm fine with leetspeak, lolcat speak, poor grammar, text speak, and normal speak.

But speak Engrish and you die.
What's wrong with Engrish? If you are trying to speak in a language that is foreign to you, aren't you expected to make a few mistakes?
Engrish is when you leave out words or use them incorrectly, thus making it the only one of the above I can not understand.

I've only ever heard of Engrish as being an accidental bastardization of English by non English speaking people or non native English speaking people.

Engrish refers to non-standard variations of English often found in East Asian countries. Spelling may also be non-standard. While the term may refer to spoken English, it is more often used to describe written English, for which problems are easier to identify and publicize. The term arises from an ambiguity between the "r" and "l" sounds in the spoken Japanese language, although the Chinese language frequently sees the "l" substituted for "r" in foreign loanwords. Engrish is found on everything from poorly translated signs, menus, and instruction manuals to bizarrely worded advertisements and strange t-shirt slogans. Usage of the term ranges from the affectionate to the pejorative. Country-specific terms, such as Japlish or Janglish for Japan, Konglish for Korea, and Chinglish for China also exist.

I only care if they use words incorrectly or forget to use them.

I'm pretty tolerant except for that.

Out of that list, text speak and poor grammar/spelling.

Engrish is usually an accident, 1337sp33k is internet heritage and Lolcat-speak is rare outside of Lolcat/Icanhazcheezburger memes.

The single most annoying kind of internet speak is the kind that uses K instead of C, Z instead of S, and lowercase I, usually in tandem.

Example: iTz pWNiiG3

Pisses me right off. They'd go down for rape if language was a person.

The worst is 'epic', 'fail', etc... It's so completely stupid, and it contributes nothing. It also irritates me when people use 'lol' as a punctuation mark.

Everything to be honest, but especially those asswipes who put 'lol' at the end of every sentence like an intensifier, like 'OMG get raped n00b lol'.

Using them for satire or occasionally is fine, but in small doses.

All of them irritate me, curmudgeon that I am, but poor spelling and grammar disturb me the most-- It's usually younger kids, and they are going to learn the hard way that both using proper English and being able to spell correctly are not OPTIONAL skills!

...and what's worse is that some of them actually seem to have brains peeking out from within that mess of gibberish, they're just lazy.

Seriously, txt spk when you don't have a character limit on your message is retarded. '1337 5p33k is just a lame attempt at trying to look cool... and just looking dumb. lolcatz is usually somebody trying to be cute and/or funny... and failing. Engrish in the sense of a non-native speaker fumbling over word selection and usage isn't offensive, but lately I see it being employed more in a lame attempt at comedy.

Most of these things are like adults using baby voices or saying 'pwease'-- it's not cute, it's just fucking pathetic.

While all of them annoy me (except perfectly normal) I dislike poor spelling the most, it feels to me like the person typing is in a really big hurry, which they most likely aren't.

Frankly all forms of internet speak are total balls and anyone who uses them, no offence, should be kidnapped and forced to write out 'I must use proper grammar all of the time' 5000 times with their loved ones blood as ink.
I might be a bit of a grammar freak, but people need to speak properly. Kids are starting to write in text speak! Somebody hit them, becuase I'll go to jail if I do.
Proper grammar all the way. I also hate all abbreviations. I just do. Its incredibly lazy.
Lolcatz is only acceptable when being used in lolcatz pictures.

The one I loathe with all my being is 'lol' because it used way too much.

I don't know when appropriate grammar, sentence structure and spelling became a luxury. Irritates me seeing other people use hardcore leet speak, but I have to admit I've used 'lol' a lot of times, but that's about it. Jumping from the internet to say, an Orwell essay, is rather jarring. Text speak is worse than having splinters forcibly pushed under your fingernails. I hate it so, so, so very much. The beauty of words is their fluidity and flexibility, but dumbing them down is not a method of appropriate manipulation.

Text speak. I'm one of the few here who still likes lolcats, engrish is simply hilarious (hell, I take notes in engrish because it's quicker), 1337 speak has its charm, and poor grammar is just mistakes mostly, but text speak is just stupid and annoying. At least the others reflect amusing aspects of internet culture.
Really? 1337 has charm? But believe me, poor grammar is often far more than just mistakes. Most that do it on here are just too lazy to hold down shift before they type a letter and go back to correct something to make it slightly legible... /rant.

On topic and completely sensible now: despite being fairly fluent in it, 13375[>34[< is one of my top hates on the internet. txttlk, lolcats speak and poor grammar I will put up with, but I can't stand the leetspeak.
