oh Jesus Christ on a pogo stick... people are still going about this crap? I swear if those people got teleported up there to look at the landing site they'd still claim it was faked... Now personally I'm not a great fan of America's ethnocentric "we are the best hear us roar" rhetoric, but honestly, you'd have to have less intelligence then the average fox news presenter to believe they faked it.

For one thing if "conspiracy theorists" found about it, you can bet that the KGB would have, and those guys would of used it as a perfect weapon against the US.

Yes. For the love of fucking god, yes. YES.

And for the people who want proof, how about this:

The Apollo 11 left behind "corner reflectors" which astronomers can use to measure the distance between the Earth and the Moon precisely, even today. These are basicaly panels of refelctive materials which observatories can bounce laser off to measure distances, these have been around since Apollo 11 and have been used by many diffrent observatories, goverment and private, in many nations.

The rocks brought back from the moon in the Apollo 11 mission have been studied by many diffrent scientists from all around the world. These researches are peer reviewed and open to the public, all of them agree that the origin of the rocks is lunar.

Why won't someone just point a telescope (and i mean a big one. Like Hubble) at the landing site to prove it once and for all?
The reason is the relation between the distance to the moon and the size of the landers resulting in an amazingly small needed seperation angle, you'll basically need an optical telescope about 300 meters wide and I have no idea how long. You can find all the science here:
http://calgary.rasc.ca/moonscope.htm

edit: Holy crap, I haven't checked that site in some time and looking at it now they apparently got some photos of the lander from new orbital telescopes.

edit again: Lunar orbit, not our orbit offcourse.

Yes, we went to the moon. We have mirrors and various other garbage still up their as well as a few astronauts' footprints. You can prove the mirrors are there so unless aliens moved them for us (which would raise a bigger series of questions) we have been to the moon. If you beleve otherwise, please do some reserch and watch the moon landging episode of Mythbusters. If you still doubt it then you have your fingers far in your ears that nobody should care about your stubborn ass anyways.
