Nazis, but Russians are probably catching up.

Played through MoH1 & Frontline, CoD1, UO and CoD2 and they were pretty much one big Nazi shooting gallery.

Since then I've only really been shooting ultranationalist Russians and middle-eastern insurgents.

Eh. Zombies aren't nearly as common in games as you'd think.

I swear I've played a game with Russian Nazi's who were working for aliens, but I can't remember what game it was...

Lately? Zombies.
they're in everything these days.
Minecraft, Mass effect, L4D, Killing Floor, Red dead redemption, borderlands, soon to be yakuza 4, Call of Duty, black ops, etc.

Well it stems from a discussion my friends and i had some time ago. Mainly we just could understand why all the non blond, blue eyed Germans were doing anything as they would have to be eliminated as part of the master plan. Then some one suggested that they could be brought back as zombies, because that way they would no longer be living, thus exploiting the obvious loop hole.

I've probably killed more aliens/zombies, but those are just the kinds of games I play more of. I've killed a ton of Nazis, though. Like, a ton.

actually probably not I didn't read all the rest of the posts but SO MANY FUCKING PEOPLE play FPS multyplayer that it'd have to be noobs.

especially with FPS single player campaigns clocking in at less than 6 hours on average.

I can't believe noobs wasn't on the list.

I'm gonna have to go with Russians or Taliban substitute because the Modern Warfare series is my go-to FPS. And that doesn't have Nazis or aliens...maybe illegal aliens, but those are usually invading Russian forces. I'm not really sure that they care about immigration laws.

Where is monsters, demons and zombies? I never got into these "realistic" shooter games. So the only stuff I've played since the days of Doom and Quake are zombie games.

What about your AI squad mates? When the stupid AI gets half your team killed, and you have to restart the mission, it's satisfying to kill the rest first.

Proposed enemies of the United States, past, present and future. That about sums it up. Lot's of material for developers though, considering the US is even it's own enemy.
