The event where Microsoft reversed all of its policies is the Microsoft One80 (or 180, or one eighty).

If we're going to be making up the nomenclature, we should be consistent, and remember why we're doing these things.

I always thought of XBox One80 being more of a negative title than a positive one. After all, they did basically retreat after getting bombarded big time. But something about saying Xbone out loud is just way too much fun. Because penises.

Now my cousin is contemplating getting one after MS realized what they were doing was bloody stupid.

Also I shall still be getting the PS4 because... well I already have + and it's cheaper and has more stuff I want at launch.

I use whatever is appropriate for the context of my argument. If I want to refer to it without respect (which is most of the time), I use Xbone. If I'm talking about what features it does/doesn't have and whether they might/might not come back, I'll use Xbox One80. If I just want to refer to it neutrally, I'll use Xbox One.

But yeah, for the most part? Xbone. Pronounced Eks-Bone. It has all the right nuances.

P.S. This is a gaming forum. Nobody is going to confuse the Suckbox One with a DVR simply because I called it the X1.

The name "Xbone" doesn't even reference DRM, it's just the self-evident nickname for a product that's full name is XBox ONE.
