The oldest game I still play a lot has to be the first Ape Escape, I loved that game as a child. It was also the game that taught me to use analog controllers, before that everything was the d-pad and after Ape Escape the d-pad felt weird and clunky to me.
RE-VISITING??? screw the crap on the wii, it's N64 all the way for me!!! in fact i just out down Legend of Zelda Majoras Mask... why the hell did i do that????
RE4 is pretty old by video game standards, and I always go back to it as if it were brand-new every time. I love it, and for reasons I can't even pinpoint verbally.
I just came off a week stint of Civilization 1. Odd that this thread popped up now. Also Earthbound, X-Com, and on rare occassion a random NES game such as Mega Man, Mario 2 (US), or Contra.
Arcanum, Fallout 1&2, and Diablo 2 are regulars though but I don't really consider them old... yet although they are close.
I still buy and play games on my Sega Dreamcast like Project justice, crazy taxi 1 & 2, Sonic, and jet grind radio, I think I have one of the oldest systems ever
I sit down at the NES every few weeks or months with this classic myself
I'm also technically in the middle of getting through the original Half-Life but Reach has been taking up pretty much all of my gaming time
