I had the talk when I was 12, but it was just the simple stuff. The rest I either learnt by myself or in Science class.
For the most part yeah especially the bra practice. She didn't tell me much about anal sex cuz she she told me "that place isn't really for sex so don't do it." She didn't say about the whole " Did she tell you that she finds it ungentlemanly when her head is pushed down onto a penis that she is fellating, and that it can cause her to gag, which hurts?". She would just say "be gentle and go with the flow."SikOseph said:LOL. So I take it your mum taught you that you should make sure that your partner is properly aroused first. Some good techniques include fingering, where if you crook two fingers you wil find that you can effectively stimulate the g-spot and thus effectively arouse your partner. Did she also tell you not to go too fast when inserting your finger because it is likely to hurt your partner? Did she tells you that it feels really nice when the man slowly circles his tongue around the clitoris, or that gently flicking it with the tip of the tongue can be amazing, but doing it too hard hurts? Did she tell you that the proper way to have anal sex with your girlfriend is to use a lot of lube, and dildos/butt plugs that graduate in size until the anus is both loosened and well lubricated? Did she tell you that she finds it ungentlemanly when her head is pushed down onto a penis that she is fellating, and that it can cause her to gag, which hurts? Did she let you practice on her bra how you are supposed to undo them?Marik2 said:Actually yeah my "Talk" did tell me EVERYTHING and it wasn't anything to be ashamed about. Even if people did learn some stuff about sex along the way it's still important that parents sit down with their kids and talk to them about it, because some people can get the wrong ideas about sex when they see it on TV or the Internet or wherever they heard it from. It's the duty of parents to guide thier children till adulthood.SikOseph said:It's nothing to do with 'having to learn by yourself' but everything to do with being given the opportunity to learn yourself. Did your talk really have anything to do with the sex you eventually ended up having? Were you somehow well prepared for that by your mother? If your answer here is 'yes', I've got to say that your 'talk' must have been pretty strange and probably not at all healthy.Marik2 said:Edit: Jesus Christ I thought there'd be more people having The Talk, but apparently most parents let the government or television teach their kids about sex.
I'll stop there because I think my point is illustrated.
Indeed, but I'll take my revenge one day in a very Alex Mercer-like fashion. Mwahahahaha! Until then, I think I'll go cry in a corner until I manage to repress that memory again.theshadavid said:Hahahaha, omg that sucks sorry man.. I stumbled across porn only once in the form of a pop up ad that wouldn't go away when I tried to get rid of it. It wouldn't have been so bad if it wasn't an ad for a very bad fetish site. *shudders in remembered trauma*

Well, I knew the basics atleast. There were some quite intriguing, quite disturbing things I learned in health class...
I didn't learn it in school, but that class was the single most hilarious one we had to attend. The dudes that came to teach us picked the most squeamish kid and the most hyper kid to the front of the class to talk to them and whatnot. Oh man, it was hilarious to see the poor nervous kid trying to inch himself out of the classroom...tellmeimaninja said:I believe any of us who learned it in school remember the most horrifying health class of our lives.
