Guilty of absolutely none (playing almost no online games probably has something to do with it).
The only DLC I've bought was the Fallout 3 DLC, (all five) but that game with the Game of the Year edition, so it came out to $10-$20. Well worth it.

Well...that's a fail. I never bought...or even looked at the DLC for Just Cause 2. It's kinda sad that stellar games like well...everything on the list but Train Simulator 2012+ Just Cause 2 resort to such cheap ways to get money.

Also..four people voted yes for Loving Train Simulator? Guess it takes all kinds..
There are actually lots more bits of DLC for that game, too, mostly high-performance automobiles and heavily-armed assault vehicles.

Pretty shitty imo, but not remotely as blatantly "lol fuck you, gamer" as a gun that you flat-out cannot resupply without a fucking airdrop.

(I was drunk. I was drunk and fucking around on Steam at 4 in the morning. I'm not allowed to do that anymore, because I buy stupid shit when i am drunk and fucking around on Steam at 4am.)
I actually played that game and remember it being amazing and not really needing any extra guns or cars. I mean...all you really needed as an assload of C4 or some other explosive, machines guns and your mother fucking grappling hook and you were golden.

It wasn't until this generation's console cycle that I began to hate that HDDs were invented at all. Playstation 2? Oh, that's just the one where we weren't being gouged.

I miss those days.

Those DLC packs are so damned retarded. I do feel bad for the vapid mouthbreathers that spent money on them. Well, I don't. I don't feel bad at all. Consumerism needs them - and I love consumerism.

I remember when I bought Record of Agarest War and took a peek at the add-ons. Jesus, it was insulting. You could pay actual, real-life dollars to buy experience points in a fucking RPG. Don't want to grind? Spend money.
lol i bought all DLC for Agarest and Agarest Zero. Just because.

I'm in the same boat that I've got Warden's Keep and actually thought it was decent, but didn't know that it was Day 1 DLC because I bought the game later. I guess I don't buy Day 1 DLC... except when I don't know about it.

I've got one they can add to the list. The alternate color packs for the BlazBlue games. Seriously? You're going to make us pay for THAT?

Not really guilty of any of the above myself... though I do have a sparkly horse on my currently inactive WoW account :D.

My partner does have Train Simulator - yeah the DLC is ridiculous, but I think he's only bought a couple of the cheap ones (I know he has the Halloween one). Not my sort of game, but one of the good things they do is provide the main game updates for free, instead of it being a paid upgrade.

I still don't get whats so bad about a lot of those, there optional skins, you don't need them to finish he game and no ones forcing you to buy them. How is that evil or insulting?
I think the main complaint with most of these DLCs is that the time spent, resources used, budget spent and market space taken could have been used for something much more worthwhile for the game.
