I can't hear any voice but Isaiah Mustafa's when I think of God, but my friends all say He'd sound like me. (Whenever my summer camp does a skit and needs the voice of God, they give the role to me.)

Hmm...Probably that girl's voice from that one hentai I love. Man, she sounds adorable. A combination between a soft, lusty purr and a cute little "Meep!"

Most definitely.

What the hell is wrong with you? You don't have Peter Dinklage (AKA TYRION "BITCHSLAP" LANNISTER) ON THEIR?!
As I said earlier, with only 8 options, it does limit me, so I went for

Soothing/Scholarly/Bored/Detached/Leftfield/Special/Shouty and the obligatory "I don't agree" button. :)

Quite amazed this is my biggest topic though ;)

Morgan Freeman is the first one I would nominate, but it would be infinitely more entertaining if it was GLaDOS torturing us mere mortals :D
Definitely have to agree with this :p I think Alan Rickman would be a good voice for the devil for sure.

Morgan Freeman. His smooth voice comforts me :). Alan Rickman has a cool voice too but it's a different kind of good.

Not Morgan Freeman, but Gordon Freeman! Get it? Because I'm an atheist! Ok, sorry.

No, I kid, I vote for Steve Buscemi. Don't ask me why, just first thing that popped into my head. And I know he doesn't sound deep, wise, british or any of that. And maybe that's the point.
this is entirely unrelated, but Steve Buschemi singing "Still Alive": THIS MUST HAPPEN

Anyway, if we are hearing the words of God, and not someone else's voice relaying God's parlayance, then clearly we are hearing it through the phone or radio. Maybe, God applies a special filter so that we can hear him, have a general idea of what he sounds like, but never ACTUALLY hear the voice of God. Perhaps this might cause pain, instead of destroying our mortal shells. Based on that, the answer is clear:

THIS EXPLAINS EVERYTHING EVER

this was a double post, because of shitty CAPTCHA magic.

Also, I think everyone is confused, morgan freeman IS god, not his voice

EDIT: But, according to South Park, the RIGHT answer is Mormonism... and in Mormon faith, anyone not white will be "corrected" in heaven... which must mean that Morgan Freeman is not an upstanding member of American society of African descent, but a despicable white man in blackface. Which means god is an evil jerk who makes light of the struggles of blacks in america. But god is good, which means his approval of racism can only mean that racism is the morally correct path. Which means that you shouldn't base your opinions on deities based on popular media, because that makes Hitler happy!

That went downhill fast, didn't it? Shame!

Given God exists (which he may or may not to - Atheists, suck it up and go with it for the purpose of this), and his voice is projected by the Metatron (Not a Transformer) so that us mere mortals can hear it...

When you hear the Voice of God, who does it sound closest to?
[HEADING=2]I'm torn between either Tay Zonday[/HEADING]

[HEADING=2]Or possibly C.S. Lewis [/HEADING]

Something about his voice sounds so humble, yet elegant whenever he talked. I just loved how he sounded, but another one in tribute to my love for him would be

[HEADING=2]LIAM MOTHERFUCKING NEESON!![/HEADING]

You cannot deny his epicness!!

<youtube=l3LuS3armAc>

Please don't let this come off as me being an overzealous Christian, but Liam Neeson has such a well rounded voice that he proved his all knowing persona through characters such as Qui-Gon Jin and even Zeus from Clash of the Titans.
Love his voice and I could definitely imagine his voice as the voice of God

Patrick Stewart. Come on guys! His voice is just...mmm
Failing that, the narrator in Bastion. Because God should be able to make you imagine you're being caressed just by voice alone.

For the lulz: Eminem or any other rapper.

I don't see Orson Wells on there anywhere.
Or Christopher Lee for that matter!

Did you hear his voice in Kingdom Hearts 2!?! So much damn benevolence in his tone that you'd expect him to spit light and end all of the Heartless' existence with one foul stroke of his beard!
