What's with the bias towards MW2? Sure, I hate the game, but it seems that all of these categories are aimed specifically at it.

[sub] On topic, I hate all of the above. [/sub]

I said glitches, but little kids and stupid team mates come really close.

Also, lag kills a game, but that's not deliberately caused by others.. usually....

My vote goes to the people, because since I have the same items as the other guys, we have equal opportunities to kill each other.

Thermal Snipers!

It's like saying:
"Hey! I'm too crap to snipe properly so i'm gonna fill in the entire screen with black except for what you need to shoot, which is bright white!"

[sub]Sorry, I lost integrity for a second there[/sub]
Why is it such a bad thing when you can use it also?
That's the same thing as getting mad at someone for using, for example, an ACR or a Model 1887 in MW2. You have the same option to use it as they do, unless of course, you are a lower level, in which, well, that's your fault. Sort of.
I hate this damned argument, yes I could use a thermal sniper that picks out targets for me. Yes I could use duel 1887's (which btw I have nothing against). But there is no skill involved in thermal sniping as a thermal sniper vs a normal sniper is going to see the normal sniper first in 9/10 scenarios. If you pit the duel 1887's against say..... the spaz12, both have an equal chance of killing you from roughly the same range.

I know it's not a great argument, but it's my argument
I see what you're saying, but, with a sniper argument, there are a multitude of factors.
Cold-blooded, Sleight of hand pro, the actual player's ability, all of these things can tip the who shoots who battle to one side or another.

It's not Modern Warfare I hate, but I think we can all agree that is is filled to the brim with facts that are not liked.

I can't stand the little kids that play. They rarely ever know what they're doing and they're annoying to boot. "Stupid teammates" is second on my list.

Good point, however I will argue the Cold-Blooded argument. I personally hate the idea of perks that counteract only specific things that may not appear in the current match.

For example If there were no thermal snipers then Cold Blooded is a waste of a perk (yes I know it helps against air support too)

But the worst one is Ninja: Yes once upgraded it silences your footsteps but until then you have to contend with a perk that ONLY affects enemy heartbeat sensors AND NOTHING ELSE. The day I use Ninja is the day I die.

Little Kids, hands down.

Seriously, they could be the greatest teammates in MW2 history and shoot with accuracy envied by the gods and I still wouldn't be able to take the f**king squeaky voice in my headset.

Now where is the poll asking if XBox Live should require that players have hit puberty?

Seeing people naked while playing Uno(on Xbox)

Seeing people do terrible, unspeakable things to a teddy bear, while playing Uno

Dual weapons are awesome. Having the shotgun as a secondary is a great idea.
If you disagree well go play a shooter on one of the last generation console.

Running around with 2 shotgun in hand may not be real but it's fun and fun is more important then real in the gaming world.
Again, if you disagree, don't bother to post. Nobody gains anything.

Little kids are okay, but only if they speak when spoken to. There is nothing more irritating than being on a team with nothing more than children, as they discuss their latest boosting techniques, or map glitches or whatever.
Never once have I heard them actually discuss some kind of combat strategy for the next match. And somehow, their conversations always take on a musical note.

Then there are the team-mates that seem determined to start fights with you. I was playing Halo 3 with my brother. We found ourselves partnered with a pair of Americans. They checked our locations, and straightaway, off with the British jokes.
They were none too impressed when I responded to a mum joke with a 'If you fit through the door-frame, she's all yours.'

I got a lot of criticisms. Apparently, they've heard fat jokes all their lives.
I wasn't surprised, to put it simply.

Really all of those options derive[?] from the human factor, don't play with stupid people and this problem will go away...
although this is almost an impossible task, seeing as 80% of onine gamers are 12 year-olds/idiots, (10% trolls and 10% decent people), but I've played some really fun matches of Uncharted 2's multiplayer.
But maybe most of the trolls hang out in Xbox live, and all the 12 year olds need to play a more mindless shooter that doesn't require you to strategy-climb on buildings...

There are ways to overcome campers, specific tactics, and you can always ignore/mute kids. Stupid teammates are pretty frustrating also, but depending on the game you can sometimes carry the baddies.

The one thing that can't really be overcome, and can only be countered by quitting or doing the same action is glitching. Nothing ruins a game faster than glitching. Some glitches are minor little jokes, while others clearly are gamebreaking and ruin the fun for everyone involved.

Everything else in the poll is annoying, but glitching is downright infuriating, and unacceptable.

Thermal scope doesn't shoot for you. It simply illuminates a target. If you think that takes the skill out of sniping... well I just don't know what to say. You still have to aim correctly, and you still have to realize that sniping in MW2 is completely irrelevant in any sort of competitive play. Why snipe when you can shoot with 100% accuracy across the map with a SCAR-H or ACR, and not be completely gimp at close range?
