Actually, microphones. I have to mute every single person just so that I don't get called "fag" or something dumb over and over again.

In the case of MW2, I would say dual wielding since when combined with shotguns, they are fairly imbalanced. That's just me though and I'm also guilty of using it.
Anyways, it's a tie between "stupid teammates" and "little kids", stupid teammates can be justified though, if the player just started playing and don't know the basics of the game, but little kids are usually annoying and not just because of their prepubescent voices that destroy your ears, but when they decide to be an absolute idiot and thinks yelling over the mic is cool.

People are one of the main reasons that online play is ruined, for me anyway.
The people who yell racial insults over their mics annoy me, people who sing over their mic annoy me, people who use hacks or exploit a glitch, Children also annoy me, and the people who whine because they are losing.
Than their are people who start taking the game to seriously and start insulting people left and right.
I love the mute button, it comes in handy when playing with people like that.

Right there with ya. Online players is the #1 reason I don't play online. Whether it's an FPS, an MMO, or what have you it's just not what I find fun anymore. Same room, same friends, that works better for me (at least in theory, I only game with my kids, but they're pretty fun.)The_Deleted said:

I agree with these two. Stricter laws need to be created to stop underage people from gaining access to games rated innappropriate for them. And I think you should be able to vote to kick someone from the game if they're not helping to sieze the objective.
ohh man thier are more than a few thier that are definitely irritating. But little kids(who tend to do/attempt to do alot of the things on the list) are definitely high up there seeing how I've mostly been into Nazi Zombies in World at War.(which requires abit of common curtesy (ie no killing zombies at someone elses window) and teamwork) So whenever possible I back out, before the game starts. Because besides them being annoying little shits thier's the fact that they're under age and most often they're voices just grate on my nerves.
But the one thing thing that I relish is getting into level up lobby in free for all matches. Everyone's like let me get my 24(or whatever number is one point away from being ending the match) and the idiots so often gather in one spot on the map and one at a time let everyone get just shy of that magic number and I always ask/insist I go first but regardless of when I go when the person who's "next" in line goes to get there first kill I always kill him first and end it. The profanity and threats are music to my ears man

Beat me to the punch. I was going to ask where the other people option was. All the other people suck so much of the fun out of the game that it becomes pointless to play and just gets my blood boiling.The_Deleted said:

If I could take a picture of my after match report, I would, because its basically that for the last 30 games or so, the only exceptions being when I get a nuke. Which is about every 5-10 matches. Oh yes, my k/d is 2.27 at the last count, and also (on topic), little kids don't irritate me, I just think it's funny when they whine (in that instantly recognizable whine) "You're a haaaaacccckkkkkkeeeerrr..." Which velcros me to the match until they quit with fury at my (very sneaky) style of play. That is so satisfying, I feel like a bad person, but an awesome gamerpoiumty said:
