People who take it too seriously, especially when they are trying to say "you are doing it wrong" when it's just for entertainment.
Weird. I thought this was an old thread for a second. I'm tired.
As for multiplayer, anything that anyone does that is not built into the game(ie cheaters, glitchers, level lobbies, etc.) is bad. Everything else can be avoided by a little brain and a bit less whine. And some patience and restraint, but I'm sure many people don't even know what that means anymore.
Oooooh, I hate campers! Oooooh, I hate grenade launchers! Well you know what I hate? Idiots who run around the level with an AR who continually and repeatedly run at me and into my bullets. You know, it's not that hard to go around, but those dumbasses have to go down that one hallway, and it pisses me off when I get so many free kills.
Also, some of you who complain about camping, please define it for me. One day it was a person who hides in one spot with a gun and doesn't move ever, and they only get kills when someone walks by that spot(meaning go around or throw a grenade.) The next day it was anyone who uses a sniper rifle(meaning they were whiners.) So what's next? 'That damn chair is camping in my kitchen! It may not be getting kills or doing anything useful, but because it's not moving it pisses me off!!!' The point is, I can't tell if camping is supposed to be a real thing, or if people just label whatever they don't like as 'camping.' I'm currently leaning towards the latter at the moment.

Umm, have you tried an offline game? They pretty much fit the bill for what you're describing.Noelveiga said:

Online you have the added bonus of possibly meeting people who are nice, funny, helpful etc. Of course you have the opportunity to meet people that are the opposite - which is why I tend to stay away from online FPSs. "Little kids" (measured by how young they are or their mental age) seem to be drawn to them. Games which require an investment in understanding game mechanics etc are "too hard".
Apart from that I'd say lag, not being able to find a team for a quest/mission, broken game mechanics, people taking the game too seriously.

Mine would be the people that are complaining about Campers/Rushers.
Solution to camping - You know where they are, just use a fucking noob tube. I'll never get killed twice by the same guy.
Solution to rushing - Camp back a little, you know they are coming for you so make sure you are in an open area with an assault rifle.
It's not as if they are cheating.
They are both valid tactics.

Agreed. Weapons are in the game for a reason. By all means yell at/ban the hackers, or the griefers. People using legitimate techniques or weapons shouldn't be banned because you don't like it. Snipers out there? Take cover. Knifers? Be more alert, blow them away for ten metres. Although, it's not cool to camp in a situation that doesn't warrant it, i.e. Last one on a team, and just sit in the corner waiting for ages. There were three guys on a game I was playing yestaerday working to gether to get the nuke. You know what those cheaters made the game more fun then it's ever been, they'd hide somewhere and defend the spot and I used every tactic available to me to stop them. I died a lot but it was good fun and nice to have an objective that didn't involve a bomb or a flag.
