Poll: To all PS3 owners and fans

Pretty much straightforward. Which of these titles you use as a main argument to promote your PS3? Or was one of them a reason you bought PS3? I want to know a popular opinion on the subject.

For me,first option is a right one. Hell,Ratchet and Clank series is the only console games i'm intrested in!

DISCLAIMER: Please don't start flamewars. I just want to know main reason people have for owning PS3.

Why do some people consider Killzone or Uncharted best games on a PS3,when there's a big box of gold named Ratchet and Clank right at their feet? They may not like platformers,but R&C is a gem nontheless. Why don't they like it? We will never know...

The only time I ever promote/defend the PS3 is when it's been unjustly insulted by somebody. Likewise for the 360.
But I would say... inFAMOUS. A good spin on the superhero genre.

Although I don't have a ps3, I would say either Ratchet and Clank or Little Big Planet.
I wish I could get one though, you guys have quite a good few exclusives

I got the PS3 for two reasons: One, I grew up with Sony, and trust their consoles. Two, future potential. I didn't buy it for a specific game, and i don't use any games in arguments. I don't think it's smart to argue on which console is better or whatever the case may be, seeing as it's opinions and all.

Right now I guess the partial mainstream view of the PS3 is to own a copy of Killzone 2, but I beg to differ. Uncharted: Drake's Fortune takes the cake for me.

I own a 360 but I keep intouch with the PS3 games and I say Uncharted 2 looks AMAZING

I in no way am a PS3 player. In fact back when I did my commenting on Youtube I found myself head to head in a flame warzone in which many lives were lost. But now that I am serving on board the Escapist and living amongst her crew I have learned the value of peace. So although I am not a PS3 owner myself I still feel the need to comment.

I say the best PS3 game is probably Littlebigplanet and that I think could be the face of the PS3. Although odds are we would find ourselves with Resistance or Killzone 2 as that is what the current generation seems more into.

I believe Fanboy was working on a PS2 emulator for the PC. Ask him about it so you can enjoy some R&C goodness.

Infamous was what sold it for me, but Uncharted and Resistance were also good. Also knowing Heavy Rain, The Last Guardian, and God of War 3 are coming was enough to convince me to shell out the cash.

I've had all the playstations before ps3 so buying it was just my continued loyalty to sony... and the fact that i know the controller both backwards and inside out.
The arguments to persuade my parents to pay mainly revolved around the blu-ray technology though.
I only have one of those games, Infamous... but it is a good game.

There is no official face the Sony and the PS3. Nor was there one for the PS2 or the PS1. That is the beauty of the PlayStation brand. It has no face and covers all genres.

I suppose the 360 qualifies in this respect but Microsoft makes more of a concerted effort to make Halo or Gears their official mascot.

True. Well part of the reason I went PS3 instead of 360 was cuz I'm a devout Playstation gamer since the PS1. That and I'm still mad at Microsoft about Vista.
