I don't make the bed, but I do smooth the covers out. So it looks tidyish, but not pristine. I figure, the only people who are going to see it are me and people who really shouldn't care whether it's made, so I'll save myself a few minutes each day (they add up) and leave it alone.
...someone should do that math on that XD
1 minute a day x 365 days is 6 hours a year.

I always make my bed, unless my girlfriend's coming over and I've otherwise got the place to myself, because then it just gets unmade right away.

Takes me all of 5 seconds to straighten out my quilt and make the bed, doesn't bother me at all.

"Make your bed" is an unheard of phrase in my house. I don't have time in the morning (on school days) and who wants to waste time on a weekend?

Not making the bed helps reduce the number of mites that will be on your bed, so I don't make mine.

I do it because I find it more comfortable to get into a made bed than to get into bed and pull a mess of covers over myself, I sleep better.

I don't bother most of the time, it gives the bed bugs a much harder time to try and set up shop in your bed.

I have never made my bed save guest visits. I see absolutely no point considering it is going to need to be done every day. I do straighten the sheets when they get wonky but other than that I leave the "creative" look.

I have just made my bed after a week of not making it. And even than, it didn't take me that long. Luckily my room is small, so any stray pillows would never get far.

Never. Few reasons.
Why bother when it will just be "unmade" that night?
No one can see my bed. Seriously, it's on stilts, most of my room is under my bed. Queen size, I can stand under it. It's awesome.
It's more organised not made. I have three rugs and two sheets, for differing temperatures. They're variously rolled up to the sides and at the bottom of the bed. If I get cold/hot in the night I can easily grab another rug, or throw one off.
But seriously, I can not emphasise enough how awesome my bed is.

My mom always forces me to make my bed. I don't really see a point to making it though since I'll be sleeping in it at night again anyway.

The only time I ever do it is when I've changed the bedsheets; otherwise, never. Firstly, I spend most of my time in bed ((hey, I'm a teenager, I'm meant to do sleep) and so when I make it, the chances are it will be slept in quite soon. Also, as said above in this thread, an unkempt bed can dehydrate bedbugs, although I'm pretty sure I on't have any anyway.
