Guys you're all missing the point. This is a vs thread and is what is wrong with the Escapist. From now on nobody reply except to tell OP that we don't like vs threads here ironically giving it more exposure to the community that actually ignoring it.

Also over.

Where's the "it's fucking toilet paper, it doesn't care whether it's over or under and neither do I" option?

You know what? I prefer mine sideways. Just because.

Over or under what?

I just have it how it is in the picture, I have no idea what you guys are talking about with your over/under mumbojumbo.
Apparently they are talking about this:

Never heard of that over/under thing either, I had to google it. Who the hell keeps it "under"?

Over. When you have one of those toilet roll holders with the pivoting lid thing on top, the lid comes down and enables you to tear off the paper without having to hold the rest of the roll.

Also, this is fucking awesome, whatever it is!

I love threads where I don't have to think. It's like a really easy test.

Anyway, over's my preference. Always bash my fingers on the wall if I go for it too enthusiastically when it's under.
This made me laugh. I didn't know other people where also so enthusiastic about toilet paper

It doesn't care? I don't care what the toilet paper thinks, I want to know what you prefer.

Sideways would be awesome, I didn't know you could buy sideways hangers. You could have it out in front of you, then if toilet paper companies where smart they could start printing articles or comics or something on them so you don't even have to dig around for a magazine before you go.

I prefer.. neither.
I like to throw my toilet rolls towards the ceiling, and precisely staple the unraveling section of the roll with a shuriken. Then I proceed to back off a few feet and simultaneously throw two boomerangs to slice a square of toilet paper and catch it within the air current, which then proceeds to return to me, as boomerangs naturally do. It's my favorite method!
/joke

Actually, I prefer over. It seems like a more reasonable thing to do.

If I had an under paper, then I would have to hassle to reach under the roll. It is easy to break off by stopping the roll, but nonetheless, the physics of the rolling motion disallow any ease of use when under. Over is just easy to handle.

Plain and simple.

I do have a sideways hanger.
No advertisments though.
