Firefox. Lots of people seem to like Chrome, but I really couldn't get on with it. The Adblock stuff works well on Firefox and I find it comfortable to use.

Having said that, I've heard good things about Opera, and wouldn't mind giving it a go.

I use FireFox, I very briefly tried Chrome but didn't find it very intuitive so I just went back to Fox, maybe I'll give it another go sometime but I'm happy for now.

Firefox. I used IE for waaaay too long until I was told about an especially bad virus, so I switched. Took a while to get used to, but I'm perfectly happy now.

Opera, because Firefox was less-than-functional so I switched.
Intriguing... I was going to say; Firefox because I've found it to be the most all-round functional browser.

I'm an avid Firefox fan, but I've got to say IE8 works amazingly well in Windows 7. So well in fact that I've not got around to installing Firefox on there yet...

Firefox - developer plugins. Developer plugins! Violence and blooooodshedddd!!!

Chrome - testing purposes, and as 2nd browser window for miscellaneous stuff while violence and bloodshed is occurring in Firefox.

IE - because some people still use it, and so we have to test, and then make special tweaks to ensure things look ok in it. Standards? What uses those? Not IE, that's for sure.

I mostly use firefox or opera, and if I need to use IE, I just use the IE Tab addon in firefox. I also use chrome or safari sometimes. Just anything but IE, because the security is so horrible. I don't even think it's safe to use that browser for anything but testing a malicious web page.

IE as i don't know how to get any others. What is the difference anyway?
Many many things. Mostly to do with safety, speed, size and updates; but you IE users won't want anything like that.

If you do, just click this link [http://download.mozilla.org/?product=firefox-3.5.2&os=win&lang=en-GB] and give it a try. Then put in Adblock and watch all that spam disappear.
Adblock rids of most the adverts on this site though... Atleast mine did.

Not for me.
And anyway, I prefer Opera and the options it gives me.
I couldn't go back to Firefox now.
Fair enough, each to their own. To be honest I haven't used Opera properly - just on things like the Wii and other non-PC harware it's been put onto (which hardly gives a fair impression) so maybe I'll give it a go.

Google is as much an evil corporation bent on world domination as Apple and Microsoft are. Google just hides it better.

Also I was not a huge fan of chrome when I tried it.

I think I will just stick with Firefox it does everything I need and there are a ton of addons I use constantly. Of course half of them just broke when I updated firefox, but they where fixed again shortly.

Right click, add exception of escapistmagazine.com, apply.

Simples.
I'm not saying I wanted them :p But hey, hey. I use Chrome now, it's a better place I'm at in my life.

*high-fives Maxi* Alright, we use the same browser. Opera is the best I've used so far, but I suppose I should try Chrome, seeing as it is on my computer... just staring at me.

Huge fan of Firefox. IE had completely crapped out on me, took literally thirty seconds just to load each page. Firefox loaded everything with a speed unmatched by IE, even when IE wasn't traveling at rage-inducing slow speeds.

Firefox runs hard, loose and clean. Plus, I love all the addons.

Also, I'd tried Chrome for a bit, but it was way, way too simple for me. Besides, Google knows too much about me as it is; I don't need to feed them egregious amounts of information by using their browser.
