No, I'm not going to see it. Not because I hate the series, I just don't care about it.

Am I the only one who thought "Chronicles of Narnia: Really Stupid Edition" when watching the trailer?

While I think the twilight films are better than the books, I still don't really like them, so I probably won't go and see this.

Hmmm....pay money to see this? No, just...no. I sat through the first movie to see what the big deal about it was (both the love and hate for it) and no, I will not continue to watch this shameful and boring dreck.

Will do. I should probably see New Moon before I see Eclipse, though...
New Moon was actually fairly enjoyable, for the record. It's not a masterpiece but it was at least better than Twilight. It's primary focus is on the werewolves. Edward doesn't even show up until the end of the film which might have been what I liked most.

I think Twilight doesn't deserve the hate OR praise it gets.
It's above average for a movie, but obvioulsy there are better ones *the fifth element*
Read the above and then marry me for Spartacus, The Fifth Element, and admitting Twilight isn't a good or bad film.

No. No way.

The books are decent, from what I've heard, but the movies are the most terrible, asinine garbage since... I don't know... Gigli.

I'm going to see the fourth movie, though. I have got to see how they make a PG-13 movie out of all that body horror, pedophilia and rough vampire sex.

Hmmm...will there be blood sucking, mutilating, devastating aristocrats who can rip shit up like a crazy mess of gothic literature and bloodiness that is required?

Well, if not, I could always just go watch Daybreakers again...Though, in fairness, the movies are hilarious if taken out of context. And the girl is quite good, and the wolf guy, what's his name, Jacob? does have some decent stunts that might be useful later in his career.

I wouldn't watch a Twilight movie if you paid me.

But I gotta say, I admire RPatz. He's admitted, several times, that he thinks Edward's an idiot and an asshole, and that he's basically in this for the fat paycheck. He doesn't even lie to his fangirls. XD

Sorry mate, I heard from my girl friends that the movies do not do the books justice, so I therefor will leave it off my watch list.

EDIT: May watch the fourth one though for all the crazy vampire sex that is to occur (In which I believe her pelvis is broken? Cant remember.)

(Kidding, about the watching it part, not the crazy vampire sex.)
It's her spine and pelvis, I believe. And then Edward chews her magic half-vampire baby out of her uterus and she's in a coma for months, but it's okay because now she's a vampire and doesn't have to get old and Jacob falls in ZOMGTRUELOVE with her newborn baby, who will stop aging around twelve.

I did not make a single word of that sentence up. Hand to God.

Sadly yes and willingly. Not because I like it but because I am an aspiring movie buff/critic and try to watch as much movies in theaters as I can. I won't see it right away though, I'll give it a few weeks because as much as I think Twilight fans are a bit dull and have poor taste, I don't want my laughter to hurt their experience. I guess I'm a considerate person. Oh and when I'm bashing on the movies and general plot of the movies, I want to be able to back up my claims.

Regarding Pattison, I agree with you. He seems pretty cool and he might actually be able to act if given better material. Regarding the events you listed, good job. Whenever someone tells me the books are good I bring up those things. I'll admit the ripping out of uterus part is actually bad ass the whole Jacob pedo thing is horrible. Also the lack of good morals. (Yay I'm with Edward and I'm a vampire everything is going to be good forever and ever. EDWARDEDWARDEDWARD*seizure*)

It's directed by the same guy who made a decent vampire film. Hope he makes something out of this.

As I thought... cinematography and directing: Looks fantastic. Acting: Bollocks.

FATAL FLAW.
I don't think it's acting as much as they don't have anything good to work with. But yeah, I'm glad I'm not educated much on the matter of both twilight books and twilight movies.

I haven't seen New Moon yet, so I'm excited. I have seen Twilight, and didn't hate it though.
Really? You saw Twilight? Eh, one of my friends wanted me to see it. I couldn't finish it. The movie failed to hold my interest. But, I'll admit I read the first 2 books. My friend and I went to Florida last summer, and he brought them(His mom bought them for him because she just assumed that because it was about vampires he'd like it). I read them to see what all the fuss is about. Not the best thing I've read, but not the worst.
I haven't read the books, but yeah I saw the movie. It wasn't as bad as everyone said. I mean, it wasn't great, but it was watch-able.

Only if Blade comes in at the end and kills everyone.
We can dream, we can dream. How about we bring in actual vampires as well, like Dracula?
Hell, I'd even settle for the Underworld type of vampires... or just something that bursts into flames in sunlight...

Well, Frost did use sunscreen in Blade. Maybe that's what they're using.

The thing I hate about Bella is that she's selfish to a nearly sociopathic degree. She doesn't comprehend or understand that other people have feelings and lives of their own, and seems to be obsessed with the idea that everybody else's lives revolve around HER, and seems to judge people based solely on what they can do for her ("Jacob can fix stuff for me and Edward can make me eternally young and these people at school can worship me like the goddess I am and my daddy can slave away for me!") She's a narcissist and a borderline sociopath, and it's pretty damn disturbing.

Plus the fact that the Sociopathic Narcissist and Abusive Stalker Sparklepire are supposedly "the perfect romance" and that all these creepy fangirls are worshipping them... jeez. Makes me hope that Buffy and Blade just come out of nowhere and start staking everybody in sight at the end of this movie.

I'll only be going because a girl I like wants to see it. Tbh I did enjoy reading the books but I agree they aren't very good. Its kinda like watching Big Brother I guess.
