I'd be a destroyer of worlds, blowing up planets with giant red balls of laser from my fingertips.
I just have to watch out for monkeys who can turn their hair blonde at will.
Better destroy all of them along with their home planet.
And by destroy all of them I mean destroy ALL of them.
Not destroy most of them and let 5 of them live by letting one get sent to some distant mudball of a planet as a baby so he can grow stronger, employ his brother, the prince of the monkeys and his assistant and let one really strong baby and his father escape.

That would seem like it could be a fatal mistake that would get me sliced in 2 by my own disk of red laser and let them spread their genes to mix with the dominant species on that mudball I mentioned earlier, one of which eventually comes back in time from the future and kills me after most of my body has been replaced by machinery after that last mishap.

I would become neither a hero or a villain.
I would guide humanity to a better path, influence the world to make us a better and stronger species as a whole. I would evolve our race, and send us to the stars to rule our universe.

Immortality may not be invincibility but it is close enough, at the very least i could outlive my enemies.

Continue life as usual. No, really, I'm content. I'd enhance my life, such as actually entering a fictional world instead of reading/playing/watching/visual-novel'ing-it-up, but beyond that, I'd continue as normal. I'd probably not want the powers either. Continuing to live for yourself requires strong willpower and being very apathetic to not save people when you can easily do so. I'm confident that I could do it, but, I'd rather not find out for sure. And if I wanted to help, well... let's just say that unlimited power combined with believing that a culling every now and again to stop long term problems of overpopulation (among other things) aren't the best combination for a good guy.

Man I'm boring :(

I would simply live life the way I am now.
'Cept I'd fly everywhere and help people.
I'd probably also go capture Kony just to get everyone to shut the fuck up.

I'm with ya there. Yes, taking over humanity means more restrictions, but when the reward is no war and space travel, I think we can agree on some common ground.

Also, the whole "you'll be corrupted by power" thing is just BS. I know exactly what my motives are, and to think that someone shady could corrupt me into abusing it is laughably naive. Its a statement that stems from jealousy.

I'd fix things.

The world domination aspect of that would kind of make it lean more towards supervillainy than superheroism, but if I just randomly come across people I can save while I'm in the process of subjugating/unifying the world's governments, yeah I'll do that.

And of course, I'd be trying to subjugate the world with minimal casualties - first possibility that comes to mind (not really knowing what Dragonball Z's powers include except there's flight in there, energy blasts, and since it's powered by really good kung fu it had better be mostly super-strength) punt a chunk of Antarctica's ice sheet into orbit, thus preventing world flooding from global warming and at the same time sending a big intimidating message to the world. And then, send a big intimidating message to the world, where I take responsibility for the small second moon now in orbit and basically dictate terms.

Anti-hero.

There would be several nasty political regimes toppled and criminals caught on my watch, but I would do it pretty brutally. Put the fear of God into 'em...

Knight Templar Emperor of the World, devoted to crushing corruption, falsehoods, and evil in all its forms and gaining supreme political power as a means to that end. You want to prey on innocents, I'll break your spine. You dare to tread on the weak for your own selfish greed, I'll be your worst nightmare, evildoer.

A smart criminal stays well under the radar...no "super villain" hijinx for me thanks..that gets you ponded on by super-heroes, and greatly limits your ability to walk down the streets without attracting too much attention. I'd be just evil enough to live comfortably. :)

I wouldn't trust anyone with that sort of power, let alone myself.

Move to cave, only emerge when really needed.

I'd try to make Warhammer 40k come to life. Of course, I'd start by kicking humanity's ass, proclaiming myself Emperor of Mankind...

'Tis a very slippery slope indeed.
This, although it might start backwards, or maybe I'd never be considered a superhero, because I'd probably be Punisher-like, hunting down criminals that the Law can't do anything about. Either that, or I'd create my own country and make my own Laws, and invite people to join me and leave behind the world of corrupt politicians (go Rapture!). Very utopian, I know, but I'd try to leave a nice civilization for this world (with superpowers, that becomes quite possible, although I'd really love to have telepathy and telekinesis, instead of superstrength and super resistance; I'm fine with immortality and being able to shoot beams from my hand :D).

Delibrately become some sort of legendary figure who appears at important points throughout history. And change my voice to be identical to that of G-Man's.

As an immortal with unlimited power, I'd grab humanity by the scruff of the neck and force them to grow up.

Only then could they fulfil their destiny in the stars... certainly not gonna do it on their own, FFS, they can't even agree who's imaginary friend is right...

They want an immortal, all powerful figure to look up to?.. OK. I'll do the job, I mean - If I'm going to be around for infinity, may as well do something to make the place nice to live in. It'll take a few generations and they'll hate me to start with.

Also, I'd force the star bound destiny for selfish reasons.. in a few billion years, our sun will go bang.. need to be off this rock by then.
