A link to the story would be cool.

But I'd have to pick Portal or TF2. Either one of those sentries would be awesome to have.

I'd so buy a Holy Mackeral. Then I'd go get some real life Fish Kills.

Link please?
I would like the ZPEFM (gravity gun) and the portal device.
Screw it, I want it all.

Hats will cost less than their in-game counterparts.

EDIT: Unless I have an ungodly amount of disposable income I probably won't buy any merchandise.

Gods yes, I'd love some of those oldschool TF2 posters on my walls. They'd compliment my BioShock 2 posters wonderfully.

Ehhh...what? What are you talking about?

Hl2E3 would be better.

What? if they want to invest into a franchise I would expect them to complete a miniature expansion pack.

Oh just that I'm wayyy too casual to buy merchandise. When I think of merchandise I imagine closets filled with action figures and stuff like that.

Ah, well, that's pretty silly. Having a poster or a statuette doesn't mean you're some otaku-esque person who decks himself in his favourite character's clothes and has 'closets filled with action figures'.

And I don't really get what having, say, this poster of BioShock 2 [http://img.auctiva.com/imgdata/1/1/6/1/7/9/7/webimg/349048552_tp.jpg] has to do with 'games need to stay games'. What does that mean anyway, games need to stay games?

Haha! I really like that poster. I might actually look it up to hang somewhere (shame it doens't fit my current room at all because it already has a huge-ass poster).

It's supposed to mean that I prefer stuff like that when they actually remain inside the game. Games to me are like an dream, a fantasy, an experience. I find no need to buy physical stuff of that game. Unless it's really cool outside of the game's context as well (like your poster, that's just awesome).

Am I the only one who thought this was going to be about buying hats in TF2 and Portal 2?

Ah, well, that makes more sense. I got myself some statuettes too, but no life-size replicas or anything, those usually are for die-hards (then again, I am) if only for their cost and size. Though a life-size replica of a W40K chainsword...working...oh yeah baby.

But anyway, yeah that makes more sense. Real TF2 hats would really be cool though. I mean they're just hats. That poster is pretty small by the way, it's more like a pamflette. Came with 2 other similar sized posters, though I only put up one other. I got myself a nice little arrangement together with a piece of Assassin's Creed artwork.
