All I have seen for the EUP so far is slander. Trying to ruin our cookie policy for all users.

Where are their policies?

Where are their promises?

Where are their cookies? They have none to give.

Our devotion is assured. Our leader himself is up late into the night campaigning. It is currently 2.54am.

Have you ever seen such devotion to the cause?
I see nothing of the like from the EUP

To be fair I'll accept your up this late but I have been campaigning since 3pm. Get some substance to your claims and promises, then we may readdress your credibility which is currently non-existent.

While we may seem whimsical, with our promises of cookies, we are striving for an understatedly important goal.

They imply that we are giving away cookies to soothe a child, the Escapist.

This is absurb, we are merely acting out on one of our promises, which is more than what can be said of the EUP, who continue to shamelessly slander and belittle their opponents!

Don't vote for a party which jumps to extreme conclusions!

We, the Escapists, can do better than that!

You do realise - read the manifesto - we aren't just offering cookies? I am gonna write 2 guides and set up a user group for new members and a older brother/sister system to help people integrate into the community.

Saying things like 'Unite the community' is a pretty bold statement considering the variety of groups and users on this site, so I must ask...How do YOU plan to do it?

The EUP claims that we at the I&C aim to only give the average Escapist a short term "fix" of enjoyment. Let me state that this is most definitely NOT our goal.

We aim to change and better our beloved community here on the Escapist. Cookies are merely a means of acting on our promises.

It is sad that the EUP feels so threatened so as to insult us and our policies with such misguided information.

It is truly sad.

Yet you seem to make cookies top of the agenda, I would rather have a party who is focusing more on their policies than giving people cookies for a vote.

The I&C have already provided the enjoyment of cookies, and will continue to do so, to the Escapist. The EUP say they will do more, but have done so little to back up these claims!

(I really need to go to bed I'll check if this makes sense in the morning so bare with me)

I plan to make a user group to integrate new members to the community with will have an older brother/sister model where veteran members are assigned for a short time to guide new members in the community - I will speak to the moderates about making it so new members are instantly aware of the system. I am also going to write a guide on all the short cuts for a post e.g. img/youtube etc so if you forget its a quick reference. I will also in an effort to unite the community do a fortnightly hybrid post on alternating threads which will attract people from all 3 areas of the community (rp/offtopic/gameing) - which will probably take the form of a simple game that takes advantage of these peoples interests. You know me and how involved im in the RP threads and how I try and do good quality work. If you have further questions or want more information on that question pm me and I'll respond in the morning....Please vote for us. I have a team of 16 users already who will help me implement my policies. I answered your question EUC didn't - they just said its one of their aims - at least am trying to find and provide a solution.

Cookies will be provided to those in need of enjoyment, newbies will be given extra help to integrate with our community, and we shall crack down on trolls and flame wars in order to protect free and fair discussion.

It's all just promises! You trick us with cookies! Cookies won't help The Escapist! They make the mere reward of cookies worthless!
If you go giving out free cookies that means if someone makes a cookie worthy post then it means NOTHING!

The EUP offers nothing more than promises either. We can deliver ours, and we do so with honour!

Their promises do not water down the soul reward of The Escapist, you deliver yours now, but at what cost?

It's like giving everyone money whenever they want it, if anyone can get it whenever they want it, then it is then worthless.

Other then that we aim to improve the community in general, which I hope to discuss with furburt when he comes online.

Must you discuss everything with your leader?

Does he have you under such a spell and a tight leash that you cannot act in any way without his say so?

Our leader, and our party members are constantly online. For everyone. To answer any question whenever it arises.

The EUP has no free will, no voice other than their "Mighty Furburt"

If we have not yet earned your trust, then ask any one of the 50+ Escapists whose trust we have earned. Ask them how trustworthy the I&C is.
