I think most people can't handle war. Its clearly a bad thing when other solutions can be found.
If there is no way through diplomacy and bygones won't be let be bygones, then it is necessary to destroy adversaries.
Most human beings don't know war though, they just "study" it to try and quell their fears.
In the end it comes down to how much you'd be willing to lose.
If you can say something like "Yeah, I love War!" chances are you've never lost a child and if you had and say the same things, then you lost more than just a child.
To murder someone's child in a self deluded "justifiable" war is murder all the same. If you love murder, you clearly aren't cut out to be considered "civilized".
I would LOVE to see someone who says "I Love War!" say it just the moment before they get murdered in a war, and die with a smile on their face and genuine happiness in their hearts. Because to embrace War, to love it, you MUST be prepared to suffer the ultimate consequence of it, Death.
Chances are when someone claims to love war, what they are saying is.
"I detest War, for it is not through destruction that I am here to banter on the internet all day making these preposterous claims, but through peace and cooperation. It is not that I don't appreciate the sacrifices of wars, but I would gladly take unto myself the responsibility of learning from those sacrifices, so that I may better serve in the interest of peace. Without these sacrifices I recognize that much of the culture I have grown up to love is based on the very real consequences of War, and the sacrifices of those who died in them, fighting for whatever cause they chose to embrace."
So if that's what you mean by "I love war." then I can understand where you are coming from.
But if you only mean "I love murder." then you are most likely a liar.
I've never experienced a war, and I will pray that I don't ever. For to live and die in a time of peace is a blessing rarely seen.
