War is one of the major flaws of humanity. Its completely unnessesary and pointless. In my opinion a country should only use its army for defense, humanitatian aid or to help UN peacekeeping forces.

Completely agree.deathsong17 said:Its neccesary, but anyone who actually likes the prospect of war is an idiot. Or a phsyco. Or both.
You know the best part of the Iraq War?War Chief Will said:What about the Iraq war? It removed Saddam from power. After all...He was committing Genocide on The Kurds ( i think that is how you spell it). You know a tribe found commonly in Northern Iraq. With the gasing and bombing of innocent people...yup no good reason for going to war.xChevelle24 said:Actually, as this current war proves, it does NONE of those things.War Chief Will said:War is it good: It helps stimulate the economy. Is that it was the US that putted Saddam in power in the first place and armed him.
And Bin Laden is also another Made in US product.
How goes the saying? Don't create something you cannot destroy.

What she said.Labyrinth said:Sure, it provides technological advancement and consumes resources to stimulate an economy. It also kills thousands of people. "Population control" no doubt. Did I forget to mention the damage to the environment it can cause? The suffering to civilians? The sheer, bloody-minded waste?
National pride is as useful as a stick up the jacksie when it causes you to go to war. As human beings we need to get beyond this and find common ground so that we can all advance.
Oh, this is a toughy. Money, humanlife? Money, humanlife?War Chief Will said:War is it good: It helps stimulate the economy.
We're already spending too much on it. One helecopter could probably pay for a new school (well, maybe not that much, but close enough). And if we didn't have a war, we wouldn't need to build more weapons. This is a horrible argument.War Chief Will said:Makes use of ALL the equipment the tax payers PAID for.
