well it has been a week or two since the crosover videos came out, so everyone who is going to watch them will have seen them by now. I think that unskippable(star ocean:last hope) was better than Zero punctuation(halo wars).
It was more comfortable, I mean yahtzee was able to adapt to Graham and Paul's style of sarcastic and take the mic comentary. Especially as it was done on a JRPG one of yahtzee's personal hates.
However when unskippable(sorry I'm not sure which of the two it was) came to review X-blades, he didn't have the same charm that yahtzee has. Though I loved the bearded avatar he made for himself.
So please opinions on the two videos, constructive critism and if you think more crossovers would be welcomed or it worked as a one of but would become tiresome if they kept doing them too often

It was Graham.

His voice doesn't work as well ZP style but I think it was better written than the Halo review, honestly.

Yahtzee's worked with unskippable because pretty much any voice works with that. He had a few good lines ("Why is he wearing his knees outside his legs?") but other than that wasn't very funny.

Like I said, I liked them both a lot, and would like to see more, and of course it would be welcome if it's done sparingly.

Well, let me answer your question with another question:
Was Dr. Reese a genius when he combined chocolate and peanut butter?

They were very funny, and something that was a nice change from the weekly routine, but they shouldn't do anymore, as to avoid making crossovers old.

Zero Punctuation = funny.
Unskippable = not funny.

No amount of crossovers will change that.

Sir, I say sir! Your logic is infallible.

I liked the Zero Punctuation segment by Graham a bit better, but overall I liked both.

Graham did pretty good but Yahtzee is....well, Yahtzee. Zero Punctuation just needs that lightning fast talk with the accent. It just makes it that much funnier. Have Graham say Branston Pickle and that's all the proof you'll need.
Yahtzee's voice gets much much less funny once you've seen every episode twice-ish.

I stopped laughing at OMG HE TALKS FAST LOL and now want interesting dialog, insults, wording, analogies...

New and special ways to rip something apart.

And I think Graham did that better -this episode-, personally.

Unskippable is like MST3K for video game cutscenes while ZP is basically just Yahtzee being Yahtzee, they are two different kinds of humor but in all honesty I think the crossover was a success because they were funny. Id like to see them do it again too, not too often but every now and then would be nice.

I think it was very successful and was also very clever as it has been something not thought up before.

Weird, I thought ZP turned out better than that weeks Unskippable. Yahtzee only really had a few lines in Unskippable, whereas the one guy did a decent job at his half episode of ZP.

I thought it was quite strange that in the Unskippable episode the 2 teams work together both making jokes at the same time. Whereas in the Halo Wars/X-blades review Graham went out on his own then Yahtzee took over never collaborating their joint comedic genius/
