I thought it was generally a success, although Yahtzee didn't deliver any funny lines on the Unskippable special. Although I do love it in the beginning when he joins them and says:
"What are you doing in the toilet?"

Yahtzee sounded like his normal, cynical, game-reviewing self when he was on Unskippable. It broke the flow of things quite a bit...His voice, especially. It was like him saying, 'Hey, I'm Yahtzee and I will make no effort to try to adapt to your production.'

Graham: Why are they doing blah blah blah?
Paul: Well, technically, they're doing blah blah blah, so blah.
Yahtzee: Well, blah blah blah SHUT UP!

Didn't like that episode, specifically because Yahtzee was one of the people commenting on it.

On the other hand, Graham didn't do badly in his brief time in Zero Punctuation- he did pull off the fast talking quite well, and it was a solid performance.

I guess Yahtzee is really only compatible with his own show, which stands to reason.

I thought it was funny, but it's not something I'd want to replace the way they normally are. Maybe just once in a blue moon.

It was definitely a success. Graham Stark did seem a little awkward doing ZP, but I think that was intentional. Star Ocean was one of the best Unskippables yet, in my opinion.

It was hilarious on both fronts, I just wish they would do another one to see if there is true compatibility for there to be split episodes like in ZP. I thought it an excellent idea in the first place, and it seemed well done. Good work, you people who thought that up in the first place.

What I think is funny is that people who are critical of Unskippable (that is, don't like it) keep commenting on the Unskippable episodes to state their displeasure.

Let me put it siccinctly -

If you don't like Unskippable, don't comment on every freaking episode. Because you elevate the interest in the series, which is totally counter-productive to your thinking. The more interest you bring to Unskippable, the more the Escapist thinks that there are people who are watching it (because, technically speaking, that's true), so they cut a check to the LRR people.

This crossover was funny. Very much in the spirit of April Fools.

Well I reckon the purpose of the 'crossover' episodes was for each to pay respect and create an homage for each other. They both did that so I'd call it a success.

It was something different so I quite liked that about it. It's not something you'd do every time but every so often would keep the idea fresh and laughable.

I wouldn't want it to happen all the time, but it was definitely a nice little surprise. Although, the ZP was released before the Unskippable, so it took me a minute to figure out what was going on. Other than that, I definitely enjoyed it.

I loved it. Agree that Yahtzee sounded a bit like a whiney biatch at times though.

But still hilarious.

"How bout Stardate?"

"How bout SHUT UP!"

Of course it was a success. They tried to cross-over and they crossed-over. Every Yahtzee copycat on YouTube has the same problem as Graham; they have terrible, monotonous voices that are very difficult to follow when they talk that fast.

I'd have loved it if the Zero Punctuation episode involved them both speaking fast, arguing about one game, with appropriate on-screen action as well.
