Poll: Waste Of Time?

Would you say gaming is a waste of time (fun as it may be)? I am an avid gamer but yes Gaming is overall a waste of time for me. Fun and everything but often its depressing that I spend so much time doing it.

Its the same idea as saying other people's hobbies are a waste of time. Stamp collecting, playing football whatever. It brings that person enjoyment and thats all that matters.

I think its a waste of time. When i'm playing games there are always better things i could be doing like going outside and actually enjoying the world. At the end of the day you are playing something which isn't real and is just another way in which to escape reality, for me thats a waste of time.

Uh...this is a gamer based website if I'm not mistaking. If it's fun it's not a waste. Yes, it takes up time but, without it a lot of people here would be depressed, angry, or ill tempered all the time. I'm not even going to go into what I be like.

Mehbeh, I got meself a little dilemma here. I think gaming is a waist of time. But! I would like to become a gamedesigner in the future. That would mean I earned money with something I call a waist of time. Thats kind of weird.
But to become a gamedesigner I should totally work more instead of playing games.. (Again ->) but when I play games I learn things that I can use in the future..
