Economical Crisis, H1N1, Water Shortages, Food Shortages, Global Warming, General Panic and Stuidity. We seem to be pretty screwed. What do you think?

The world will not definitely end until millions upon millions of years later when our Sun finally dies and goes supernova. Anyone that tells you otherwise is a doomsayer or a fatalist. We're not all going to die for a long, long, long time.

Yeah, the problem is that we ARE taking sufficient action to stop all of these except global warming, which is the serious business problem.

Agreed, we should start having limits before it becomes necessary.

I didn't see a means to vote for all of the above. If we don't kill ourselves and our planet in some major catastrophe of our own making then the earth herself will get rid of us. There will be more rules, regulations and uprisings due to needing to restrict ourselves. We are lemmings who must run into the sea before we bring down the whole ecosystem we call Earth.

Panic and stupidity because if we act sensibly we can deal with all the others. It's just a shame that panic and stupidity seem to be pretty abundant with us human folks. Curses.

The end of the world:
"Ohhh what does this do?"
*Explosion*
Then we all see a huge GAME OVER screen.

Obviously panic and stupidity.
1 Stupid or panicing person can doom a dozen others. it always happen.
they run to get away and end up treading on a mine. in the middle of a minefield. and set them all off. basicly what Mr Brown has done for GB.

Why would you care? We're all gonna die, and most likely we won't see the end of the world.
And no matter what humanity does here, in a mere few million years there will be no sign at all on Earth that we ever existed. We might end the world as we know it, but Earth recovers, and the place will be swarming with life once again. And later the sun will blow up, and Earth won't exist anymore.
Simple as that.

I'm guessing that nuclear bombs and stupidity go hand in hand, right? Cause whoever came up with it must have had a brain made of pretzels.

It's all media hype and we'll all be fine in the short term... and most likely long term!
But, I do think we need to do something about all the world's governments... they suck!
We need people in power who actually give a crap and want to make the world a better place!
Or am I being too naive by hoping for something non-eutopian, yet better than this crap!
Guess which I voted for... after that rant... it's most likely very obvious, form my first line.

In the unlikely event of a nuclear war where the major nuclear powers spectacularly fail to annihilate each other on the first barrage, Finland would probably be reduced to a glassed nuclear wasteland by the Russians to prevent any pesky NATO forces from coming through, so at least i'd die painlessly.

My money's on a classic space borne ending. Maybe a gamma ray pulse or comet/meteor.

Failing that, it almost certainly come when the entire population of the world is forced at gun point to move into the Big Brother house and no one remembers to leave anyone outside to operate the power plants.

At which point we all get locked in and starve. Well, after the cannibalism anyway.
