And yet they haven't been fully realized. The last game to include them was Turok, which sucked. The only movies with Dinosaurs that are appealing are the Jurassic Park movies, and even then only the first one. With all of our modern movie and game making technology, I think its time that Dinosaurs played a bigger role in our lives. Doesn't count, already done to death with 300 and any new Spartan-themed product will inevitably be tied to that.Lord Krunk said:2) Spartans will be the next thing. I mean, look at them!
I am not trying to be a douche, but the Viking age is dated from 793 (the first recorded viking attack) to 1066 (Harald Hardraade's defeat at Stanford brigde)lodo_bear said:I initially voted Luchadors [http://www.rwongphoto.com/RW2609_web.jpg], because they are awesome and cheesy in their attempts to achieve real-life superhero status. However, after reading the whole discussion, I would prefer to vote Other, for VIKINGS. Especially Viking Metal.
The Golden Age of Piracy lasted from the 1650s to the 1720s, and it ended because people learned how to fight and beat the pirates. The Viking Age lasted from the 790s into the 1100s, and it ended because the Vikings became Christians and turned into Crusaders. Vikings > Pirates.
You're right, there are literally no books about Dinosaurs, Mutants, Samurai, Scots, Gladiators, Luchadors or Alan Cumming.Jackpot said:It's called going to the library and reading.
Or is that too nerdy for you?

EXCELLENT rebuttal. Viking Metal is pretty wicked, though.
You're right. Upon further research, it looks like by the time 1066 came around, most of the Vikings had stopped doing the pillage-and-sack thing in favor of Christianity and stable politics. The smart ones integrated and became royalty, and the die-hard ones couldn't compete with the resulting super-kings.Northman said:I am not trying to be a douche, but the Viking age is dated from 793 (the first recorded viking attack) to 1066 (Harald Hardraade's defeat at Stanford brigde)![]()

There's always the underdog called Shadow of Rome [http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T0_Exy8tjX0].demoman_chaos said:Gladiators. Rome is awesome and there has yet to be a good gladiator themed game to date (that I know of).
