well i wouldn't pick a gun necessarily. but if i had to i'd go with the rocket launcher from unreal tournament. i love the fire rate and the (generally) one hit kill factor.

it really is overpowered.
when i first got my hands on it (found it on the ground, didnt even earn it) i really played extremely good with it although i was new to this very game.

You don't unlock the M16...it's the very first gun you get, along with the MP5.

In any case, my favorite is the Voodoo Doll from Blood 3D.

oh i meant when i unlocked the ACOQ (spelling) sights for it. i could only play well with the ACOQ but i hadnt unlocked it at that point.

i realy enjoyed the Disk/Glave/Knife [http://ps3media.gamespy.com/ps3/image/article/818/818392/dark-sector-20070906030802425_640w.jpg] or whatever it is in Dark Sector, although I would have liked it if it had a bit longer range... but it still rules - I finished half the game using only the disk!

SA-80 in battlefield 2 keeps the game interesting for me, particularly on single-shot mode, and the soon-to-be-released "Ambassador" for the Spy in Team Fortress 2 is just breathtaking. (sorry I don't know how to post images!)

a mother fucking dragon, summoners use them as a weapon in ff games. Or if we are being picky, a sword. Notable swords include: Cloud strife's buster sword, Sephiroths Blade, Nightmare's soul edge, Siegfried's Soul Calibur. Any sword is good really, best melee weaponary ever. Gun wise, I am a fan of incredibily powerful sniper rifles. Also things like the cerebial bore, the plasma cannon (duke nukem 64), explosive shotgun rounds (also duke nukem 64), Revolver ocelot's revolver in mgs3. Basically i like alot of weaponary, It generally goes in orders for me...

Just make sure you're on a hill when you shoot it, they have really short range. (Thats a moment of bastardry on the part of the game designers, who makes a nuclear weapon launcher thats really short range and blows you up if you're within twenty metres of the darn explosion?!)

Tribes: Vengeance. Black sheep of the Tribes Franchise. The Rocket Pod. Underrated weapon, but so much fun, and so deadly in the right hands.

Shoots a quick sequence of 6 rockets. You can then move the cursor to influence the flight of said rockets. Ohhhhh this weapon made me a lot of enemies ^^.
