Tactical 12-Gauge from Timesplitters: Future Perfect. So satisfying. My favorite shotgun in ANY game.

Flak Cannon in Unreal Tournament 2: The Liandri Conflict. I love the secondary fire on it, and the primary fire kills anything in about 2 hits up close.

i totally agree with the shotgun but i much preferred the UT2004 flak cannon skin myself

I'm afraid I wouldn't know about that, being a console gamer. I'm sure UT2004 is awesome, however, given how amazing Liandri Conflict is.

I also have to give the Hitman series (most notably Contracts and Blood Money) some major credit for making their shotguns and magnums really satisfying to use. A single shot or at most two is enough to send just about anyone flying head over heels through the air. A big incentive for me to replay levels in a Hitman game is just to mess around with the magnums and shotguns.

Said it before, I'll say it again.

Cerebral Bore - Turok 2. Cos it goes into their heads, makes them bleed profusely, and then explode. Do I really need to explain further?

Let's not forget the Fusion Cannon from the original Turok. Literally an atom bomb in handy gun form.

Many have spoken of the Fat Man in Fallout 3 and its enhanced version, the MIRV. I agree that Fat Man is a cool weapon, but imagine, when it shoots 96 mini nukes at once. Oh, the destruction when the entire scenery explodes.

You will propably need to use console to survive it. (By the way, this is a mod-weapon)

I don't want to screw up trying to put images, so here's a link of a Fat Man that shoots 60 mini nukes (close enough): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=th-htnkRqxI

The Rock-it Launcher from Fallout 3 loaded with nothing but teddybears.

Exploding a supermutants head with a teddybear is hilarious every time.

Gravity hammer.

No matter your opinion on Halo 3, you've gotta admit that they handled a giant hammer pretty damn well.

Me and my mates have 4 player free for all's, split screen matches and the only weapons are Gravity Hammers and Rocket Launchers. Needless to say, there is more then a small amount of carnage...
Oh yes, I loved that one! Making little grunts fly up from the chaos, etc.

Seriously if they didn't make this game another click and wait wow clone, using that as an arching artillery type of weapon would had been amazing. but no, click and wait. They just ruin good concepts.

The Human Sniper.

Just a great weapon. I love its range and power and the fact it goes through enemies. Once you have the skill to use this weapon in all ranges you never let it go.

The crossbow from half-life 2.

You have anything ELSE that fires solid, superheated iron bolts?
