For some reason I'm entirely comfortable with the though of eating/being eaten by other species, but I wouldn't want humans enjoying my empty shell when I've departed.

It probably wouldn't work that well anyway since people are generally old when they die, and I'm certain they lose most of their flavor when they retire.

I'm no medical expert on it but I'm pretty sure I've heard there are diseases associated with it, at least when it comes to human cannibalism. Even if not, it still sounds very disturbing to me. And if it were allowed, part of it would soon devolve to a black market of slaves becoming food. Just No.

Vegetarian. That being said, I WOULD offer myself up as food. I don't really care if I get payed for it, but I am a vegetarian who doesn't really care about what others eat, and doesn't plan on converting them, so if people -like- eating human, I may as well cause a little joy in my passing.

Eating "human" flesh is something that would probably be common - if it were socially acceptable. However, for me I can safely say I will never eat human unless it is a situation of life and death, and even then I would be reluctant. This is because it is not socially acceptable to others (or morally acceptable to myself!) to do something like that. sorry I guess the only person I will be 'eating' in my life will be my gf.....

Big ol' negatory on both there. People are disgusting... if they know they are just going to be eaten when they are dead, why would they take care of themselves? Cows and pigs have no idea of their demise, or what will become of them after they are dead, and they don't care. Nobody asks a cow if it minds if we grind it up into hamburger when it dies because (aside from a cow not comprehending language) who cares what happens to you after you are dead? Why would someone want to KNOW that someone else is going to eat them after they die?

Generically, meat is meat. People probably taste like chicken or turkey, and if you cook either of them right, they can both taste like cow. So what does that say?
Then again, I wouldn't want to drive by a little farmhouse with a bunch of old people milling around behind a fence, waiting to become someone's Soylent Green tomorrow night. I'm sure the farmer isn't going to bother to waste money on clothing them, and 80 year old naked unprocessed beef jerky sauntering through an open field is not my idea of pretty picture.

To all you people who say you would, no you wouldn't. No matter how you look at it, its just fucked up. This is the internet, you can say what you want, but in reality, you all will puke at the thought. Also, no I wouldn't want my body to be eaten. Its just gonna be hard to sleep at night when you know that as soon as you kick the bucket, your going to be cut up and eaten by some sick bastards.

Also, even if you are forced to be eaten, your probably going to go all out on yourself so the people who try to eat you will either die from poison or something like that. There is that risk as well.
