Curious as to peoples personal moments of utter anguish lol

For simple reasons : ie, everyone would chose it. Blighttown is left off of this list.

And i've had to combine a few to only being allowed 8 options.

Personally for me.. was the Archives. That place... ugh.. just.. ugh.. those dancing trident wielding laughing motherfuckers... oh god.. the rage!!!! And that fucking crossbow refusing to let me get it... LMAO

No Blighttown eh? Uh what's the name of the place that opens up right after you get the bells rung? The one with the lizard people? Maybe that one once if i finish it.

Otherwise Demon Fucking Ruins. Whoever designed the map layout needs to be taken out and shot. "oh hey let's put a OHKO boss right after the bells!" You're the fucking reason my main character is now abandoned Ceaseless Discharge. 45000 souls lost. That's like... 10 levels!

Ceaseless Discharge, if you know how to do it, is a OHKO for you on the boss... hehehe... soooo easypiecakemode.

i really wish i had of remembered lost izalith for an option... it just completely escaped my thought process. Gah. And i think i had perma blocked headless jumpy dinosaurs from my mind lmao. Though, after realising you could get them to kill each other it wasn't so bad.

Giantstomb on my firat playthrough was pure and utter hell. Couldn't for the life of me survive the first two giants add the fact you in the dark until you find the lantern , then figuring out how to use the lantern, and realising u cant use the lantern and a sheild at the same time . Funtimes.

Tomb of Giants and Anor Londo Archerbro's. Blighttown was not all that bad (except for the frame drop and those god damn fire dogs.

Tomb of Giants... Even with the bright helmet thing, the stupid skeleton dog things do so much damage...

Blighttown at first, only because of the lag. The Anor Londo bridge was a nightmare too...since the archer's decided to start shooting me through buildings.

Most frustrating part for me was the first 5 or 6 hours trying to learn the game's mechanics and rules with no help from the game.

Crystal caves was a huge pain in my ass. I feel that the fact that the BIG VOID OF DEATH requires you to use the markers (names that avoid me now) is a huge pain to do since one marker to mark means one step.

That and Seath is annoying with his curse breath. Ugh.... I'd prefer a spear through my chest by Ornstein and a Hammaer smash from Smough over him thank you very much.

Your suffering was delicious.
On topic, New Londo for one reason: there aren't any bonfires. Trying to get all the items and getting to the boss is just a pain. And it is the second hardest/hardest boss in the game, so you will have to go from Firelink Shrine to there a lot. And fuck Darkwraiths.

My first run through Sen's Fortress was a test of patience...

"Hmm, narrow platform with axe pendulums, ah Dark Souls, this is why I love you."

*Gets past the pendulums and killed from behind my stupid electric cobra projectile thingy*

"Hmmm, interesting..."

*Gets past first area*

"Hmm, more pendulums, and cobra lady at the end. Should be okay as long as I time it right..."

*Blocks projectile, but it causes a bit of knockback, enough to get hit by pendulum*

"Fffffffffffffffffuuuuuuuu...."

*Proceeds to trip nearly every trap in the Fortress*

blighttown, the lag and because it was ,y first experience with the toxic, and all the poisoning from the bile river, also the persistent mover fuckers in that place that hunt you to the ends of the earth, or the fact i didn't release i was spose to get on the lift things, what with the environment hazards and all that i had previously encountered in the rest of the game, and all the invasions.....yeah i really hated blightown, my second character was the hulk before i went back in there

You could also use the Skull Lantern or Sunlight Maggot.
