What really makes this game kinda soddy is that it has no balance at all... Also matchmaking is none.existent what so ever, (i tried to get started on MW2, but matchmaking threw me against people on their 3dr or 4th prestige... GG). Also the killstreaks are just plain stupid. "Hey that guy is getting some kills and not dying, lets reward him with say.. A chopper worth around 5 extra kills?" (or more..).

Also the people... Teamwork? NOWAI! Not on our watch....

*goes to throws MW2 in a bin... realises it's steam-gotten* ARG!

Hacking, shitty maps, no dedicated server, and FUBAR weapon balance. Seriously, if there is an SMG that can snipe as well if not better than assault rifles or sniper rifles, there are problems.

Camping for sure. I don't have the game (due to my PC gaming preference, and love of dedicated servers), but when playing at my friend's house, almost everybody on the map was camping. It was just one more reason I'm glad I didn't spend $60 on it.

I voted unbalanced weapons because of grenade launcher spam, akimbo shotguns, and the Intervention's uncanny ability to headshot you from across the map when the killcam shows the guy using it was barely even looking in your direction. The aim assist on it is criminal.

Really? I find I do worse when I'm host. Maybe I have a lousy connection, but I find it takes more shots to get a kill, I almost never get headshots, and people always seem to be able to start shooting at me first - as though they're seeing me a second before I see them even though we're rounding the same corner and walking towards each other.

The fact that it's the game of choice for every annoying 12-year-old and lunkhead out there, perhaps?

If everything you can do in MW2 is unbalanced, then maybe none of it is. It's kind of like saying that the 50 pound weight on both sides of the see saw are unbalancing.

i said unbalanced weapons, because the upgrades are just infuriating sometimes.

also, what's drop shotting?
Where you go prone as you open fire, so it's a lot harder to hit you.
I always called that ground humping since that's sounds more insulting to the prick using it.

I don't know why there isn't an option for all. I enjoyed MW2, for a while, I got another game and moved on, now I'm embarrassed to get on it, I decided to give it a try about a week ago. For the first two games, I did alright, and the best part, only one person had a mic.

Then I got switched to a new game, fine, whatever. Then, right as I spawned for the 2nd time, I got instantly Noob Tubed. This continued on until the end of the match when I was furious. This brings me to my two personal worst points of MW2. Noob Tubes and 5-year-olds with mics. As soon as the match ended, a very noisy child that had been Noob Tubing me the entire match began screaming "YES YES F**K YOUR MOM N****R F**K YOUR MOM" and followed this statement up with what sounded like someone reading off the entire list of swear words read by the worlds most annoying child.

I could rant on and on about what kind of a household that a young child would have to be in to be able to yell things like this, but I digress. I thought about how low some scores would drop if MW2 dropped Noob Tubes and all points earned with Noob Tubes.

Most of these options on the poll are correct for reasons why I don't play MW2 anymore. The single player is great, I loved that. But the multiplayer needs some serious work before it reaches what both I, and a lot of other people want MW2 to be, a tactical war simulation that takes actual SKILL to be good at.

Repetition broke it for me - I actually really enjoyed the MP and SP for the first 3 days and for the first run respectively; But after that i just lost interest very quickly.
Putting it in large maps (not BC2 large, GTA Algonquin or RDR Northern large); 12v12 30min matches with vehicles would have made it worthwhile in my eyes.

I just wish they would have had tiered kill streaks. If they would have made you only be able to have, say, 1 airstrike killstreak, 1 uav/emp, and then one big killstreak (helicopter or something), it would have been bearable. Instead, someone would get 3 air strikes in a row, giving the opposing team no breathing time to actually regroup and make a comeback.

I would have to say the constant stream of 1v1 battles from 11 year olds. Now I just accept their challenge, insist on a way to big match for 1v1, find a cozy random hiding spot, and leave me sitting there for the five or ten minutes. Then, when they eventually get bored of running around "1 vs 1-ing"an AFK player and end the game I send them messages that since they ended the game they have in fact forfeited.

If forced to pick, I would have to say the Nuke. The ability to win any game mode with not doing the objective, but killing enough people completely changes peoples mind set. Every mode becomes deathmatch, every objective becomes opitional, and every match becomes a campfest to see who can get 25 kills first.
Considering how few people use the Nuke and how few of those few actually GET their Nuke, I don't see the problem. If you want to waste one of your very valuable killstreak slots on something you'll get once every 200 games, then be my guest. I'll keep using Pave Low for an extra 10 kills per match like the rest of the "good players" (Note: there are no "good players" in MW2. It's a shitty game.).
I am not saying the instant win any game mechanic is the main problem with the Nuke, though you got to admit that is a dumb mechanic. It's the fact that the "not good players" (in MW2 terms anyway) will try to get that Nuke even if they have as little chance to get as they have to turn into a birthday cake. I think that is why half the campers in that game camp, plus boosting would be pointless if there was no Nuke.

the one and only reason i quit mw2 is because of the danger close noob tube one man army. i have nearly split my control in two and stopped playing all together because of it. mw2 was so much fun before people started to use it now its just a pain in the ass
