As seen by MoH right now. If you use a killstreak in the beta, it freezes and you have to reboot your system. What if that was out at launch?!?JakeTheSnakeMan said:Other: no beta
Plain and simple, if you want to have a good, unbroken multiplayer out of the box, a beta is absolutely necessary. That's not to say that it would have fixed all of the problems, but it sure would have helped. Instead of releasing the game and using the first year to fix it, they could have had a beta a few months earlier and fixed most of the problems in less time because the game hadn't shipped yet.
Right after Counterstrike, at least.PhiMed said:It's just the most popular shooter in the world
The game is absolutely fine. The community is complete shit. That and the fact that there are no pro mod playlists.tellmeimaninja said:Mostly, the people. They are the reason for the cheap tactics and the total idiocy that occurs in that game. The only time I ever play that game online is if I want to go griefing.
Yep, luckily I had lost the xbox for about two months before hand, so Danger Closing wasnt enough of a game breaker for me to quit because I was so desperate and thankful to even be playing. A few days ago I had the entire house to myself and got into a lobby with nearly every single person tubing and a modded lobby where you had to aim down sights to actually kill people. I thought I was being paranoid too, except that I even tested it by sneaking up behind someone and unloading my entire clip into his back with a single hit. I honestly have never been so pissed at a videogame.commandersqwigly said:the one and only reason i quit mw2 is because of the danger close noob tube one man army. i have nearly split my control in two and stopped playing all together because of it. mw2 was so much fun before people started to use it now its just a pain in the ass
