Poll: What classic gen games would you want to see a remake of?

I liked Earthworm Jim 3D. Just Wikipedia it, it's on the Wii and another console is about all I can remember. also the PSP version is cancled.

Sadly, Wikipedia [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Earthworm_Jim_(series)#Earthworm_Jim_4] tells me nothing except that it exists. Google has also failed me. And I quite liked EWJ3D as well, but you have to admit it wasn't exactly fantastic.

And regarding MGS on the PS3, I suspect it would be an awful lot like this [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Metal_Gear_Solid:_The_Twin_Snakes], but with better graphics. And hour long cutscenes.

It use to have stuff on it,I guess they cleaned it up now. So pretty much we've a TBA Earthworm Jim game. I hope for a Wii release or PS3.

My game would have to be the original Sonic the Hedgehog on the Sega Genesis. If Sega could apply the same mechanics from Sonic Unleashed, the day time levels I mean, then we would have one HELL of a good game.

It'd be an interesting idea. If you're interested in that sort of thing, may I suggest Rom Hacks? Obviously only use them if you own the originals etc, but Sonic Retro (dot org) has a very active community who've done some awesome things with the original Genesis games.

Because all Nintendo has done with the Pokemon series is remake those two games again and again and again.

I would love to see Secret of Mana get remade for the DS. The gameplay is outdated now, but hopefully Square Enix will update it. They're already remaking every other game they've ever made for the DS, so this doesn't seem too impossible.

A third person Super Metroid remake. The way they did Bionic Commando Re-Armed. Well like that but with Super Metroid (don't get me wrong I like Metroid Prime but I'd like to see another Metroid game that isn't FPS.

Ogre Battle 64, i know its not in this poll, but if noone fucked it up and actually changed it, it could easily be a good DS game

like having the mini map on top or something and having the fighting on bottom

I know the sega CD sucked and the PC games weren't a beauty either but I'd like to see some one take another and new crack at FMV games. So I'm saying lets see a new Phantasmagoria 2 and this time DON'T MAKE IT A BAD POINT AND CLICK PORNO ADVENTURE!!... or a gorier version of The Shining...
