I think it depends on the user, and whether they've personally gotten into an argument with me before. I'm sure the people who disagree with me in threads absolutely hate me because I'm able to carry on a heated argument without breaking any rules, but in a way that really seems to get under the skin[footnote]Unintentionally; I aim to win the argument, not piss people off.[/footnote] of most people I argue with. On the other hand, I think people who I've shared a side with in various arguments (particularly Soviet Heavy, Falloutjack, and Therumancer) at least appreciate having me on their side in an argument, and most other posters either wouldn't know me, or would have an opinion of me somewhere from neutral to good.

Yes young padawan I will teach you the way of modesty. The first thing is to believe that you are the best at anything. It can be anything from being funny to making good points. Once you know that you are the best at something do not be afraid to tell people how awesome you are because of it. I voted unrecognized, as I haven't really said enough on the escapist to be . . . well, recognized
probably unrecognized. which is understandable, seeing as i usually post a short few sentences which are barely coherent enough to not be considered spam.
if i AM known, i doubt i'm extraordinarily well liked, on account of usually never really being serious. i also doubt i'm hated, because i try to be as little confrontational as possible.
