Poll: What do YOU think of the price for World of Warcraft?

I figure $15 a month is perfectly fine if you've got the money to spare. Though I'd prefer something a little lower. $8-$10. But that's because it all adds up after a while. ;P 15x12=$180. That is the price of one year of game play. A fair bit of cash you could spend on something else. I DO enjoy my WoW though. Need to renew my subscription...

A bit high, in my humble opinion. They need to lower it to $10 monthly (or $8/month with 6 month subscription) for me to even CONSIDER going back. The way WoW is right now, its just not worth it. Its a boring grind fest for $15/month.

Get the multiple month card things and it equals out to 10 bucks a month. And you can "suspend" your account till a later day if you wanna take a break and still keep your time.

That's what I used to do. I'd buy the two month time cards which equaled the same as buying to separate one month cards at the same time. 15+15=30. I'm not sure where you're getting cheaper ones but I'd love to know.

I think it was the 3 month or 6 month dealio. They had a 1year+free month like xbl that worked out to just below 10 a month but that was1-2 years ago.


EDIT: just checked 6 month is only 12 bucks now dang. A few bucks cheaper though. Googling some revealed deals for cheaper though idk how legit. Geez I need to get updated with the program here. lol

I don't think he's talking about subscription prices. The true price paid for WoW is a happy normal future involving real tits and children.

I would say that stereotype is far out of date. heck even my Chiropractor plays and judgeing from the porsche out back I'd say he does alright.

The subscription fee is fine in my book, however, the buying price for the expansions was a bit higher then it should have been.

a new game costs 60 bucks and will last you for a month, maybe 2, unless it's got a strong multiplayer aspect and you're into that.

6 months of wow, purchased at once, will cost you 60 bucks.

So really, it's pretty cheap

Ahh, you're checking it all online? I don't have a way to purchase things online so I have to do all my shopping in stores. DX
