I have an account for following companies, a few people and political parties. I get the occasioanl bot but it's easy to block them. It's a useful site, but for friends I use Facebook.

I like twitter, but that's because not only can I follow some of my favorite celebrities (Nathan Fillion, Neil Gaiman, and Felicia Day, for example), but I can keep up with the people I know through Steam because it's either that or nothin' lately.

I despise Twitter. Even during MM I refused to use it at all simply because I hate it so much. It's all the futility of blogging without the requirement of semi-decent journalistic practices.
