Poll: What Do You Think Of Will Ferrel?

Just a little factoid, Will Ferrel went to my highschool. My physics teacher was really proud of having taught him.

I can't stand him. He is just as talentless as Jack Black or Dane Cook. They all are exactly the same. They wave their arms around and scream then call it acting.

He's an actor that plays one role over and over again. Sometimes it works, a lot of the time it doesn't. Reminds me of Adam Sandler really. Very hit or miss. Poll options are pretty terrible.

Why is there no option for "Shit"?. Well I don't like him anyway. I've seen very few films that I've genuinely found him. He mostly does the same thing, over and over and over again. Bad actor?... not really, he's okay at what he does. Just seems like he doesn't have much range.

Step Brothers: Rolled mye eyes, meh'd, saw it, laughed my ass off.
Ricky Bobby: Ditto. (Sans the stupid redneck kids.)
Anchorman: Laughed less.


Will Farrell always plays the same character in all of his films. That sorta kills it for me.

The only film I've liked him in was Stranger Than Fiction where he tries to play a serious role and does a pretty decent job. In all his comedy it feels like he's just repeating himself a bit. However, I admit I have a big soft spot for the film in general and if you haven't seen it, go a rent a copy.

Well if he could maybe play more then the same character over and over I would want to see his movies, but since I already saw anchorman once(and everything else he has been in since has just been the guy from anchorman over and over) I don't think he is all that great.

He's got a bit of hit or miss about him--Ron Burgundy, Step Brothers, and the SNL days--Hilarious. Semi-Pro--awful. Ricky Bobby and Elf--eh, could have been worse.

He's like Doctor Who (I know that sounded strange but stay with me) when he's good... He is really good. When he's bad... He's laughably bad. Great, now I must re-watch Anchorman thanks a lot thread.
