Poll: What do you want in Black Ops DLC?

Some free or very cheap DLC which include co-op missions. And I'm not talking MW2 spec-ops style missions, I'm talking long, rather epic missions like in Red Dead Redemption. Also, more caracter customization rather than just face paint and clothing based on perks. When I'm blasting people to oblivion (or fallout 3, whichever you prefer) I want to be dressed in a red long coat whilst wearing retro aviators, with a cigarrette holder placed between my teeth, and wearing a black beanie hat. Also, have the return of Sgt. Waters/Jason Statham in some new missions.

A map-maker (for private matches only, of course) would be quite cool.

I run around and make myself a mobile target while hunting other players, if I die to some ass wipe who has been sitting in 1 corner for 20 minutes with his scope on the only door into the room I think it is 100% justified to say he should go play runescape with all the other people too gutless to come out and fight in an open field.

Its typicall "ARGH I deserved that because I was camping" or "I shouldnt have been camping, I had that coming,"

I openly admit I deserved to get owned when I camp and I dont hate the guy for killing me when I do, do it on those rare occassions I stop moving. I'm extremely impatient in games and hate not being in the middle of the action.

Camping will most often net you more kills, less deaths and in objective based games it will more often than not protect the objective.

A campaign that's good.

They fucked up the campaign so much. It takes place in the 60s, and somehow they're using weapons from the mid-late 70s. Plus, as ZP said, when you think of black ops, you thing of stealth. I was hoping there would be some, but there was just none.

precisely, add to that the utterly implausible scenarios, blaming the Nazis and having to kill British special forces.. I'm rather glad I sold the game.

[edit] also lets not forget the weapons that aren't real (underslung flamethrower), are misnamed (SPAS-12 - the semi-automatic version is called the LAW-12) or have no tactical use whatsoever (dragons breath rounds)

i wish there was a reduced price if you buy it without the MP

Whoa, thar. That's... Not too bad, actually. With the exception of the "ACTUAL GAMERS" thing. Damn word's like nails on a fuckin' chalkboard to me. >.<

Not too many QS on CoD 4 right now. Only 6000 people on during peak hours, probably 150 of them QS. My friend and I were up against an entire team of 'em, we both went around 25 and 2, him hardscoping using an ACOG sniper (whilst running around the map), me using my favorite MP5 silenced. Fun game, that. Every QS went way negative.

Thing is pulling back OT with Black Ops is that whenever I die theres a 90% chance in the killcam I will see the guy used a 74u on me from across the map. Last time I checked in gaming terms Smgs were close quarters weapons with the long shots falling to the Assault rifles and Snipers. What they have effectively done is turned to the no skillers and said:

Here you go kids, a weapon with a high rate of fire (which you can boost) that is really accurate and has an awesome dmg output with next to no penalty to your mobility.

Ok and the downside is? Oh it eats ammo like the fat kid at a buffet? right well now I have scavenger on my loadout, any more weaknesses? no? ok then!

I specialise in using the Galil and Famas because both weapons are balanced in my eyes. Famas has low dmg compared to most if not all other rifles but its high accuracy makes it a great weapon and compensates for it. Galil is in the middle ground, decent dmg and decent accuracy.

Problem is I will die to the other 8 guys in the game who took the 74u because I chose a weapon that isnt rigged.

I understand the 74U is OP as fuck but cmon, 'ACTUAL GAMERS', 'NO SKILLERS'?

Also, the FAMAS is OP at close range, though it does suck at a distance, and the Galil isn't really overpowered, but its so ridiculously versatile you can do anything from snipe a sniper to open a can of baked beans with it.

GIVE US ZOMBIES!

I wished they would do something that heavily deviates from the old zombies mode, like some sort of Toy Soldiers/Plants vs Zombies style tower defense thingy, or a combat training style mode where you and your buddies use your own classes to kill as many zombies as possible, and the map is set ON THE MOON!!!!!!

Get rid of Warlord, and let us have one attachment for each rail on the gun. I don't know why, but that really pisses me off. It's like they're limiting fun and customization just to make a perk.

Pissed me off in MW2 as well, but it's worse here because there's better attachments.

Also, the perks need to be scattered more, all the good ones are in the same slot.

Well, funny thing is, the AK74u is misclassified in every CoD game. It fires the 5.45X39mm round, making it an assault rifle. So it would make sense that it can fire that far (not that it isn't a bit overpowered though, I'm with you on that one).

Camping to protect the HQ, flag and bomb sites, fair enough thats encouraged and I have done it. Camping in Death match and any variant of is laughable.

Now I couldnt do better if I was camping because my KD is typically 20 something to about 10 or in that area. Camping in 1 spot would see my kill count halve because everyone else is running and gunning and people who camp 1 spot repeatedly soon find their Death count double their kill count once that spot becomes flagged. Good use of Flash bangs or concuss grenades soon wrecks campers once they are outted whereas staying mobile on medium / big maps makes you MUCH harder to pin down.

once again, Camping is a poor tactic employed by no skill cowards too scared to leave their playpen and play with the rest of us.

I thought the PC port was fine,

Anyways, any Black Ops DLC will be $15 map packs for MP, end of story. That said, going OT, IU would like some new maps, particularly Rasulka map and/or broadcast station map. I would also like some new zombie maps. Now, for the one option, new Weapons and reticle, There still plenty of Reticles, so I would only ask for some kind of customization for the ACOGs, and new weapons is a bad idea period.

I just want to say something about the campiegn, its a post MW COD (completely opinionated, but I think MW was the last COD game with a decent Story). Expecting a decent story in the campeign is like expecting a click of an empty chamber in a loaded semi-auto while playing Russian Roulette...
