More different mobs. I'm thinking in the terms of big boss fights (kinda like the behemoth mutant).
Absolutely, we should definitely have more of those. Was there even one of these in NV?
They didn't have behemoths but they had the legendary bosses there are four of them deathclaw, those really deadly flies and two others that I can't remember.
Meh, the Deathclaws I just picked off by headshooting them with the anti materiel rifle, and the cazadors, yes they were annoying and deadly, but I didn't find them as threating as fire geckos, lol :D Also, you dont remember the boss battles, cuz there weren't any XD

EDIT - you couldn't possibly count nightstalkers as deadly and boss like, as two or three shotgun shells to the brain, they lie dead on the ground :D

I don't know about the rest of you but I'm kind of thinking Florida, I don't know why but having mutated sharks walking around trying to devour you in one bite would be funny. I'd like it to be made by Bethesda but no DLC's like Mothership Zeta that one sucked noodles. Hopefully doing this with a new engine most bugs would be fixed as well.

Aliens were never meant to be canon and MZ made them canon.
I still don't see the point. You can't say for sure that they were never meant to be introduced to the universe. The fact is that they have and it is canon.

It WAS pointless, 'cuz, think about it, whats the point of DLC's in general? the weapons ofcourse, i went thru all that alien spaceship bullshit, only to get that robot alien grenade launcher thingy, even though I ended up using the firelance, which I was really happy to get :D
Alien Epoxy > Carrying around guns for spares. I might just be one of the only people that enjoyed Mothership Zeta for the whacky, over the topness it brought. It felt like the quirky Fallout I played on my PC when I was 10. But eh, I never benefited from the new weapons in Mothership Zeta as i was pretty exclusively Small Guns.

>There should be mounts
Doesnt fit the fallout world, but I car, or motorcycle we can build would be cool

>The story must be set somewhere else than the US
no, to me fallout is the usa,, or what is left of it

>The weapons system must be reworked (dual wield, the ability to choose either single or burst
fire from the first installments, etc.)

I agree totally, more weapon modes would be cool

>There should be more interesting and awesome perks and traits
Absolutely, new perks and traits would make the game better

>Hardcore mode should be even more hardcore (i didn't find it that hard to play with it in FO:NV)
I was thinking maybe 3 different levels of hardness,, Easy, hardcore and OMG

>More different mobs
of course, a new location, new clans and gangs

>Less of those Copy/Pasted dungeons
Im getting tired of dungeons all looking sameish as well

I also think its time for a new engine, and stability should be top priority

I'd like to see Fallout actually come into Washington state and maybe lower Canada. We've been to SW Oregon (which is lame IRL), but I don't think we've made it up to places like Portland and Seattle. It would be cool to be able to walk the streets that I know in real life and see them devastated, go into places like Powells bookstore, The EMP, and The space needle (I totally see the final showdown taking place at the space needle). It would also add a different environment besides barren wasteland due to the climate that we have up here, walking through some of the big forests with the rain pounding down the character, sounds like fun.

The developers of the original Fallout games stated that the random encounters were not canon. One of those was a crashed alien spacecraft. Another one was the time machine from Doctor Who. So maybe Bethesda should make Doctor Who appear in a DLC.

Plus there's the Wild Wasteland trait in New Vegas. J. E. Sawyer specifically stated that it was for making non-canon pop culture references that some people were angry appeared in previous Fallout games. One of the things Wild Wasteland does is make aliens appear, meaning that aliens are not considered part of canon.

You needed the Wild Wasteland Perk with that you needed to go near that Tumbleweed Ranch and the Alien Captain has it on his body along with 250 ammo which is all you get use it wisely. =P

Obsidian are taking people and locations from Van Buren and putting them in Fallout: New Vegas DLC. New Caanan, The Big Empty and Joshua Graham "The Burned Man" and possibly others.

I also kinda missed some of FO3's more interesting yet completely pointless yet insanely atmospheric areas, like where you'd find a couple of tapes where this guy is going insane due to radiation poisoning, and then you find his dead body somewhere else or something... NV didnt have enough unmarked stuff like that for me.
Are you joking? Have you found Test Site? Or the Devil's Gullet(I think it was called; the big toxic waste dump, with the guy wearing a party hat who made his last stand against Mutants)?

Or the Lake Meade Cave? That last one was AMAZING! I swam in there expecting a fuckfest of Lakelurk murder......but it's just one huge beautiful Underwater grotto with awesome scenery. Completely pointless, but just beautiful.

I found a lot less of those places in FO3 in fact. There were a lot of arbitrary towns, subway stations and car parks (seriously WHY are car parks a landmark) that served no purpose.....but they weren't fascinating either.

The Fallout IP belongs to bethesda now. Seeing as it's theirs now, they can do whatever the hell they want.

I want to either go back to the east coast (i never really liked the "old west"), or to go somewhere else in the US/canada. Other than that, I can't think of any other things I want. Not at the moment at least.

They can scrap hardcore mode for all I care. It was more tedious than anything.

I could go for mounts. I'd like to be able to earn a Fallout version of a horse (or camel...yeah, a camel).

I'd love them to ditch the stupid design of "when your main story ends, you can't continue playing". First time around they were just milking people for money and DLC, second time around they just told us "fuck you altogether".

As a result (one I was expecting before I even played the game when I heard they were pulling that shit again), I still haven't actually finished the game. I played it for a while, doing all the side things, but never wanted to do the final mission cause I knew it'd just end the game for me. Sure I could reload an old save to keep playing, but really, sod that, I don't want to have to rewind a story when we're talking about an open world game here.

Eventually I reinstalled Windows and I can't be bothered installing the game again just to do that one final mission - I did the main storyline so long ago that I don't really give much of a damn about it, especially considering I went ahead and killed Caesar, along with everyone else in his camp.

That aside what I want in the next game is an alternative to companions - don't get me wrong, companions are great. I had a lot of fun with some of them. However, I prefer having the option to go on my own, both for the roleplaying reasons (lone sniper) and not having to worry about their inevitably stupid AI (even if the AI is awesome, I just don't wanna deal with it sometimes... and AI is never awesome).

Would love to see a perk that gave you a bonus for being without a companion, simply activated only when you're solo (it's very easily doable, Fallout 3 had a mob with such a skill iirc). I can deal with the lack of damage and stuff (although some bonus would be nice there), but what I really find impossible to make up is how much loot I can carry.

F: NV gives you the option of going with 2 companions. Now, it's been a while since I last played, but as far as I can remember, they carry something between 150-250 pounds each, so when you're going with two companions, they can carry some 300-500 pounds of stuff, almost none of which is used by them (non-humanoids don't use weapons/ammo and Boon had a decent enough rifle which doesn't take up space and has infinite invisible ammo). That's a LOT of carrying capacity to give up and just having a perk to mitigate some of that loss would go a long way to me enjoying the game a hell of a lot more, especially with the Hardcore mode on (extra weight from food/water/ammo exasperates the issue and dying companions with absolutely shitty AI and health are a pain in the arse).

I really don't care as long as it uses the Skyrim engine :)

I'd like a harder hardcore mode however, hardcore mode is honestly the ONLY way to play NV, but it was still pretty easy.
