Poll: What games are better than Bioshock?

Well, you see, my friend insists that Bioshock and System Shock 2 are the two best games ever, But i disagree. I've never played System Shock 2, and I admit that Bioshock was a flat-out incredible game, But i liked Mass effect, Half-life 2 (and episodes), and Call of duty 4 better.

What are your thoughts escapists? Where is Bioshock in your top ten list? Is it even in your top ten list?

I loved Bioshock, but my personal favourite will always be the Orange Box.

Sorry, but I've played faaar too many good games for me to consider Bioshock the best game ever. Hell, I love the game and all, but it's not even in my top 50.

I played for a while and got incredibly bored, so I quit. To be honest, my favorite game ever would probably be Assassin's Creed.

PS: I know it has flaws, no need to tell me.

It was good, but it didn't knock my socks off or anything. Wouldn't make my top 20.

I've just started a second play through (I find owning multiple systems a great excuse to do this) and I'm appreciating it a lot more than I did first time. It's refreshing to have such a finely crafted single player FPS, a rarity these days.
That said, I don't think it'd get near my top ten, maybe not even my top 25.

Bioshock would rank about 7 in my top 10, favourites are tied at present bewtween CoD 4 and Empire: Total War

Best game ever, imo, Knights of the Old Republic. Although I'm not ragging on Bioshock, it got kind of repetitive and boring after a while.

Bioshock in my opinion was good game, but it is definitely not in my top 10 games of all time, hek it is not even in my top 30. System shock 2 on the other hand is in my top 5 of all time just behind Baldur's Gate, Rez, Ico, Chrono Trigger and Diablo.

What a terrible questions, "best" is completely subjective not to mention how pretentious the premise of the thread is.

Isn't that the point of contention in this discussion then? The only subjects worth debating are subjective because not everyone will agree. Maybe the question was worded poorly, but it is essentially "Where does Bioshock rate among the best game?" If you don't believe it's rated highly, then voice your opinion, but no need to be a douche about it.

It's probably in my top 50 or so.

I mean it's a pretty good game, I wouldn't go so far as to say it's the best game ever (Too short, too limited); like I wouldn't say it was just "meh".
