I'd say Rhonin, for one simple reason: During a scene that involves him, count how many times per paragraph Rhonin's name is used. I noticed it early on in Day of the Dragon, where it seemed like every second sentence had at least one use of his name.
But then every second sentence about Krasus is reminding us of how much better than everyone else he is, because he's a
dragon and we can't disagree with dragons? After all, they're so much older and wiser than us, and all their senses and physical traits are better! Yes! I, for one, welcome our new draconic overlords!
I don't know why Knaak has that dragon obsession such that he has to drag them in to every WarCraft story he writes. It was fine when he was a DragonLance writer, that's all about dragons, but they're only incidental to the WarCraft setting.

I think it's because Warcraft 3 turned the Orcs into a bunch of pussy-whipped pansys who need all the help they can get. I mean, WTF?
Nah, WCIII orcs were fine. Grom killed two different demi-gods, how much more do you want? I'm more concerned about the Alliance. Now that the orcs have been rehabilitated, the Alliance has been hit with the stick of political correctness. Gone are the days when their armies proudly marched into battle against the Horde or the undead. Now they just sit around, and every human who doesn't hold up a giant sign saying 'Sorry!' for the orcs to see can't be good.
I must say, I really don't get that. Okay, the orcs are good now, I'm fine with that. Thrall freed the race and showed them their noble ancestry, and Grom redeemed them from Mannoroth's blood with his death. That all makes perfect sense. But when they try to go back
before that... consider the internment camps. How many orcs have complained about being enslaved by the humans? Well I'm sorry, but all the Alliance did was put the orcs in temporary internment camps after winning a war. Considering that there were those among the Alliance who wanted to
exterminate the orcs (and that that's exactly what the orcs were trying to do to the humans), Terenas had the explicit goal of just containing the orcs long enough to hold negotiations with them so that they could be re-settled, and that prominent human wizards, e.g. Antonidas, were busy researching ways to cure the orcs of their lethargy, I fail to see how the Alliance could have been any
more merciful. But now they get demonised for that?

For me Warcraft was not only about gameplay but the Setting and Story were what sucked me in.
Indeed. WarCraft has had a strong story, which is carried off particularly by its equally strong aesthetic and visual style. WoW more-or-less has the latter, but no one seems to be bothering with the former any more.
